Topic: can't find drivers for sata hard drive to use with ubcd4win

I need to find the right drivers to load into ubcd4win. I have a maxtor sata hard drive 80 gigs. The ubcd4win won't recognize my sata drive, so someone suggested to add the sata drivers to the build. But I don't know what drivers to add. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The model of the HDD is irrelevant to this, the only thing that matters is the SATA controller.
You will need the drivers for that.

If you use the DriverPacks, you'll have to include the dpms and also enable Texode support in BASE.

If you don't you need to use the driver of your MS controller - if it's on-board it will be supplied by your motherboard manufacturer.

the latest version of UBCD4win includes Driverpacks and mass storage pack.

you must go into pebuilder and click the plugins button and highlight base and click the configure button.
this will create the mass storage plugin and enable it - build your PE and test.
