Topic: Method for integrating Textmode drivers

I integrated just the textmode drivers into XP Home SP2 (latest base and mass storage package) which worked fine but I ended up with an OEM folder in the source and some lines added to winnt.sif [runonceex], which seems a bit unnecessary seeing as none of the textmode mass storage drivers need to be copied to the hard drive.
I used method 2 as it was the default, should I be using method 1 instead?

Hi,
welcome to DriverPacks.
You discovered a bug but you were not the first to find this one.
OverFlow wrote about this not too long ago, and he is working on a fix.

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

Re: Method for integrating Textmode drivers

OK. I tried to delete the oem folder, the winnt.sif line and presetup.cmd but to be honest i don't know what I'm doing and have got in a bit of a mess. I keep getting a message saying presetup.cmd and setuporg.exe are missing when I try an installation...think I am just going to try again with the newer DP base.

Re: Method for integrating Textmode drivers

use clean source (create a new copy of your install disk)
