[BUG?] Intel 82Q963/Q965 Dell Optiplex 745: yellow exclamation mark (Page 2 of 2)

the intel files I updated in [i-1] are still there
(updated [i-1] 02/26/2007,6.14.10.4785 to 04/16/2007,6.14.10.4820)

and [i-8] is still there.
the overlap is still there, I figure.
(I thought windows ought to handle this)

we could perhaps eliminate overlap, removing it from the NEWER..

Well, at intel there was a note for driver ( which is in [i-1] )
The latest IGP driver should not be installed if there is a third party video card present in the computer.

And this is beyond our control.
However, we can have it so that the older is used for all it can support, the newer for those with NO overlap, and we can mark the [i-1] as a problem driver, and have a backup of it in a sfxMiniPack, so the user can easily remove it.

I used that script we tuned, and tuned it so one can drop any subfolder in there.. (remove D\ .. so it does not error out for folder not found.)

the Intel folder has a LOT of duplicate HWIDs in there..
(folder 3 and 4 were supposed to be already gone, and folder 7 is probably not going to be kept either.)

found a NEW update.. and worked my way down.
have used developer -zipped- downloads, and let NEWEST do all they support.
(because there is no warning on the zips for dev DL..  the warning is on the exe selfinstallers).

test version is uploading.

Jaak, now works even less

Now both of these graphics bits aren't picked up..

update, it appears to not have been packed right and ended up all in
C:\DP_Graphics_B_wnt5_x86-32_707intel_jaak2\D
instead of
C:\D

I hadn't nopticed until now as my 'to sysprep' is all scripted, so guess entire pack B was missing, d0h

I repacked initial one with correct dir (before saw your post) and just tried it, still fails on
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2992&SUBSYS_01DA1028&REV_02\3&172E68DD&0&10: Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

Am confused now with latest packs in Mr Smartepants thread! latest driver at present time there is

In it it mentions the old Intel drivers in I\8 that jtdoom put back, does that encapsulate the fix in this pack (that worked)
DP_Graphics_ … t_INTEL.7z or did that get unfixed with newest Intel additions??

still no good have now got log file output
I think the Intel graphics drivers are completely not working as also used my latest build on a GX270 with onboard intel and that now doesn't work either (was always ok previously)
