Topic: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Using the latest DriverPacks, I've got a device that isn't found. In devmgmt it is listed as:

"on Intel(R) 82801GH (ICH7DH) LPC Interface Controller - 27B0"

Specifically, it is the "ACPI\PNP0C31\1" device listed below.

Now I believe the latest chipset DP is outdated compared to the latest Intel chipset drivers - could that be the reason why? I believe muiz has already updated it, but if not then I will! smile

Mainly just wondering if anyone had seen this device before!

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Check the nightly of DriverPack Chipset, the latest Intel Chipset drivers are indeed included in that one (good job muiz smile). Probably that will fix it.

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Already did wink

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Great, I'll give it a test in work tomorrow. Good job guys!

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Ok, it didn't fix it (good job Muiz anyway!) but I know now what it is - I was able to get the driver via Windows update and it was "STMicroelectronics Trusted Platform Module". Using "stm_tpm.dll" and "tpmddl.dll".

So - Bâshrat the Sneaky - do you want TPM drivers included in the DriverPacks? If so, which one (chipset?)? A new one?

Not that I can find an actual download source for them yet and I don't know to download drivers manually from Windows update. sad

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

lightsout

I upload TPM driver (from Infineon) to driverpacks_new_drivers, compare it for yours.

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Is that also a chipset driver?
I opened and saw no HWIDS , only that its for : IFX0101,ACPI\IFX0102,*IFX0101,*IFX0102,IFX0000
Want me to implent it so you can test?

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

muiz3

Imho it is chipset driver.
An old DP chipset has "Fujitsu ACPI Devices", in path - D\C\F. It's HWIDS "ACPI" also.
IMHO all acpi devices goes in DP chipset.

Re: [IMPLEMENTED] Infineon Trusted Platform Module driver

Debugger, that is a different driver and I get the device fails to start if I use it. On the plus side, I was able to extract the 4 files required from a Windows folder so I do have them.

Is Bâshrat the Sneaky around, I'd like to confirm it with him, but I'd agree it is a chipset driver IMHO. If so, I can update the chipset DP also. Maybe worth sticking the Infineon one in anyway mind.
