I have this problem on two models:
Nec Powermate ML6, motherboard MSI MS6367.
Fujistsu-Siemens Scenic D, motherboard Fujitsu-Siemens D1381 (sound chip Analog Devices AD1981).
I have DP Base 6.10 and DP Sound A 6801, DP Sound B 608.
The problem is well known... and we working on it.

May I to see your savehwids.exe's result? I have driver for SoundMax AD1981 for Fujitsu-Siemens, I think.

No. lots of different models.and drivers.
