Topic: i need your help not encounter the drivers sata ahci for xp!

have a sony vaio laptop model EVS 141D111U
SVE14113ELW product name

I do not recognize the hard disk, the blue screen, turns off

the question is that I need to downgrade to xp because I think it's best operating system
and has better flow more stable.

I tried everything guiding me according to this post

certainly do not speak much English, but I need your valuable help with this please help I'm frustrated
I think it takes the id of my hardware??

Thank you for joining the forum.

0) First and foremost.  Ensure you have a valid license for XP.
1) use latest Chipset & MassStorage, and integrate with DPs_BASE into unmodified XP disc, copied to a folder
2) burn a new disc
3) At the initial VAIO screen, press the F2 key.
4) in your BIOS, set USB 3.0 to legacy (USB 2.0)
5) turn off "Secure Boot" (if available)

If that doesn't work, please post your DPs_BASE log.

Note:  Intel RST v11.2.0.1006 is utilized for Textmode in MassStorage, Sony supplies v11.0.0.1032
     also noting that the Sony Wireless State Device Driver (*SNYA008) is not included for NT5
              (it is for 8_64bit)

I have a windows xp sp3 Original
I got a gold license in google
regarding the bios options, there are none of those you mentioned,
in the main option displays the version of the bios, version of the machine, serial number but you can only change the date and time options.
in options:
advanced
security
boot
does not show these options you suggest
4) in your BIOS, Set to legacy USB 3.0 (USB 2.0)

or would have to install windows xp x64??

by the way the laptop came with windows 7 home basic oem x64 athome

proves will download the files and see what happens

That is NOT a valid (legal) license.  Your statement violates our forum rules (#1a).
Only Windows 7 Pro (or Enterprise) includes a downgrade license to Windows XP Pro ONLY.  Contact Microsoft for a valid downgrade license.

XP is a dying platform.  Microsoft is killing XP life support in a year.
If you absolutely must use XP, why not just use XP from within a virtual machine?  VirtualBox is a fine free example.
Your laptop is only licensed (and supported by Sony) to use Windows 7.  To use anything else would be violating either copyright or the terms of use (or both).

Hello,
I need driver pack. But i don't know which one.
I looking for sata .inf .cat .sys drivers F6 WinXP to ICH7-M Intel chipset82801M MB KINO-9454-R20.
I've got iata62_cd.exe from factory, but it self extract only when you've got Intel procesor,
Intel chipset ICH7-M (for SATA) and Windows system working already on your comp.
I just start install, than I can't unpack this packed file.

The original poster (or OP) of this thread is pretty awesome.

A. He posted in English, not his native language.
B. He posted that he had read a tutorial, and linked to the one he used. (you might follow that link)
C. He posted some details, the model of the machine and the HWIDs (NICE)
He got all the way through using our DriverPacks BASE with DriverPacks, integrating drivers and testing his work.

He failed to mention what OS, Which version of DriverPacks BASE, which DriverPacks versions, (Or his DPs_BASE.log which includes all that).   But hey over eighty percent on his first post is rockin along pretty darn good. Remember all our help is in english too, which means he learned all this in a foreign language too.

Start your own thread. Don't hijack someone else's.

It will extract on a non intel computer, it won't install.
A search of our forum will yield the answer to   that problem.

the OEM (Original manufacturer) should offer the f6 driver that you seek all by itself big_smile.
unless your OS is not supported by them for that MB.

don't forget that win7 has XP mode available too mr_smart

If your HW is new enough to not support XP then win7 is a solid platform and your machine should have  enough power / resources to make it snappy.

Pant's is right about the license.

You do have "downgrade rights" and can substitute XP,

BUT there are rules about which versions of windows have downgrade rights (home versions do not have downgrade rights for example). if you want to downgrade from win7 home you first have to upgrade to win7 pro or better. Otherwise you are in violation of MS EULA.

Win7 is quite solid in my experience.
