Topic: [NEEDS REPLY] dialog asking to locate hdaudio.sys

This driver is included in DriverPack Sound B, but in order to install it I first have to point it to the "hdaudio.sys" file in my i386 directory of the Windows installation. After that, then it is able to install correctly. Anyway to do this automatically?

Re: [NEEDS REPLY] dialog asking to locate hdaudio.sys

Yeah, same thing here, but with all other HD-AUDIO drivers, too. Theres an "PCI-DEVICE"- Alert in the manager.

Re: [NEEDS REPLY] dialog asking to locate hdaudio.sys

That means the KB888111 hotfix isn't slipstreamed properly. Could you please post the contents of your svcpack.inf files?

Nevermind.. I think this may be a dupe of this:

If I'm wrong, let me know and I can pull out my svcpack.inf files.

Yes, that's what I thought the cause would be. But it'd be useful if you could post your svcpack.inf, just to confirm that.
