Topic: Torrent Help

Greetings,

Despite working in IT for years, I've never been one to use torrents.  I've installed the utorrent client, but I have not been able to figure out how I find the torrents for the Windows XP Driverpacks.  When I go to each of the download pages on driverpacks.net, there's a download link (such as http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/wind … d/torrent) but none of them are links to .torrent files.  I've tried using a couple torrent tracker websites, but haven't had much luck locating the torrents.  Searching the forums, I seem to be the only one who doesn't know what their doing when it comes to the torrents, so if someone would like to educate me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Re: Torrent Help

if you installed utorrent when you open the torrent file (on the download pages) it should brin up utorrent and ask you to add the torrent to your downloads.

Pretty simple...

you could save the file and then right click on it and select "open with" Utorrent...

this would only be neccessary if for some strange reason Utorrent was not associated with torrent file types / extensions... this should have happened automatically when you installed utorrent

Re: Torrent Help

I tried with the same laptops from home, and it worked just fine.  Apparently we are blocking torrent usage on our network.  Thanks for the reply.

Re: Torrent Help

DriverPacks are only available via torrents for now.  We've covered this before.
