Topic: [IMPL] Dell Perc H700 RAID Controller (WK3 only)

I needed access to a new raid controller on the newest DELL servers. I created a Mass Storage 10.11.1 for my purposes. These are the additions:

The driver set, I can zip up and mail some place, otherwise they can be found at: http://support.dell.com/support/downloa … eid=283231  The download is less than the size of a floppy.

Let me know if you need anything else. Works beautifully. (the driver, that is) As for the controller, I have some real grumbles about the device I'd be happy to share in private.

The download you linked to is over 1.8 GB in size.  Hardly a floppy!
I've downloaded the SAS raid/non-raid drivers but they don't match your HWIDs.  If you have a direct link, that would be better (one that's smaller than 1.8 GB).
Or failing that, zip up the drivers (include the txtsetup.oem file) and upload to mediafire or somewhere else.
I'm actually working on a dpms 10.12b1 at the moment.  Once I get these added in there, would you be able to test?

I'm not sure which page you found, but this page:

shows that it's only 160KB.  I downloaded it and extracted it.  There are just a few files.

Thanks for this update.

I'm new to the update process.  I have the latest UBCD4WIN software installed.  How do I incorporate your changes into my UBCD4WIN directory?  Do I go into the ...\D\M\D4 directory and copy the files somewhere in the UBCD4WIN directory structure?  Maybe the ...\plugin\DriverPacks.net\MassStorage\nt5 directory?

PS the guide predates me adding LAN, WLAN and Graphics plugins... however it is still dead accurate on the steps to take to update the plugin. Except you can add some additional packs now big_smile. (I don't recomend adding Graphics)
