Topic: [SLVD] ="sym_hi" DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100125.7z TextSetup.sif

Can someone move this to MassStorage, I put it in the wrong area, Thanks!!!!

I made my latest BartPE CD using REATOGO & DP_Base8.12.5 & DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100125.7z.
The slipstream works but on bootup I get Invalid entry in Line 20599 TEXTSETUP.SIF.  Here the lines before and after the error: ="sym_hi"

I went back and used:

DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_901.7z

And it worked. So there is something missing on DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100125.7z Pack

I'm using VMware to test my BartPE disks.

Thanks
Mark

I tried DPs_BASE_100124 with DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_901.7z
and it worked, so it is something with that driverpack.

did you use a clean source or did you use a source slipstreamed with DriverPacks?

Re: [SLVD] ="sym_hi" DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100125.7z TextSetup.sif

Clean Volume License sp3.
MassStorage
LAN
WLAN

It is strange that pack 9.0.1 works and 10.0.1 doesn't.

I have been using Reatogo and driverpacks for years, I don't use Nlite or RyanVM for my Bartpe disks.

Thanks

Re: [SLVD] ="sym_hi" DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100125.7z TextSetup.sif

The Fault is mine I had implement a special case into BASE and that DriverPack.
It was a rare case where a driver in the DriverPack MassStorage replaced more than one native driver in windows

In  DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100125\D\M\C\ the file CPQ32FS2.sys replaces I386\symc8xx.sy_,  symc810.sy_ and sym_hi.sy_.

While I corrected this situation for a normal Disc method slipstream did not address the issue for BartPE... I believe that I have now.
I is possable i will need to do some additional work to fully implement this special case...

try this DriverPacks BASE 10.02.19
