Topic: [Help] Gathering IDE Controller "Current Operating Mode" (DMA/PIO)?

Is it possible to gather what transfer mode Disk 0 on the Primary IDE controller is operating in?
I'm trying to do this in a batch to gather the info, I've also just started poking around with DevCon, but I can't seem to make it output the info that I need. I can view the info through the normal Device Manager, if I go to the advanced settings of the Primary IDE Controller... But I'm at a loss of how to get this info into a batch, or into a text file...

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

check my sig for the RAID HWID tool wink
(HINT since you dont have RAID is just an example - open with 7zip winrar winzip ect... wink)

yes and no... there is supposed to be a standard... but... wink

based on wether it reports as a 101, 102, 104, 106, whatever
you should be able to determine the mode... In Theory... wink
