Topic: avast finds malware(rootkit) in \DriverPacks\DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-3

Well that's is my problem.I was reading other people in posts with problems with AVG, but it was in a different file.I was wondering if that's a similar problem and i should just ignore it...

DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-3 is not a valid DriverPacks file name

AVG seems to spot more false positives than it does spot real infections.
One has to question the usefulness of such a programme because in the end it will desensitise the user ("ah, it's very well just another of those darn false-positives, so I'll ignore that alarm") making the entire idea of alarms rather pointless.

You'll be better off using another anti-virus programme such as NOD32 (personal pick of mine) or none at all, I figure...
