Topic: txtsetup.sif not present or corrupted

I've used Drivers Pack for a long time with no problems. When I tried to build my first XP CD with sp3 included, I get an error, right at the beginning (one or two seconds after the disc starts) saying txtsetup.sif is missing or corrupt. The problem comes from the drivers pack, because I've built bootable iso's in various stages (1-XP with sp3 slips / 2-XP with sp3 slips nLited) and they work fine. The moment I run Drivers Pack, the next ISO stops on this message. In all cases I'm using EasyBoot to create the final ISO. Anyone can tell me what's happening here?

Re: txtsetup.sif not present or corrupted

you may experience this type of issue when updateing an existing source with driverpacks.

It is best to always use a clean source;
then add your updates, then your automated settings, and then DriverPacks last.

IE if you take a source that has had updates added after DriverPacks
then you will be unsuccessful in re-adding DriverPacks to that source.
the reason for this is simple, DriverPacks backs up and restores txtsetup.sif.
so if you add updates that also modify txtsetup.sif (after it is backed up by base)
then when you run DriverPacks a second time the original txtsetupsif is restored (and thus corrupted)

Please always include in your post - the version of base that you were useing
See read before you post in my signature and please provide the required info
also include details about any other changes you make to your source before or after DriverPacks.
PS you didn't even say if the file was missing, or if it was corrupted.
even knowing that might have been a little helpful to us. Good details lead to your good results.

Welcome to DriverPacks and have a great day.
