Topic: error message

Hi, I have this message : Created OemPnpDriversPath entry. THe length is 5318, which EXCEEDS the 4096 characters limit. etc...
I'm wondering why, because I did run DPbase on another XP install (in English) without problems. On this one, which is in French, I get this message, and I use the same exact pack . I deleted the QSC dir, just in case, but still has this message. Any hint ?

that warning is associated with method one
if you use method two then it will not appear or affect you.

Yes, that's what it suggest. But how come it didn't appear on my other install (using also method 1 ?)

the only reason i can think of is that you did not have as many packs selected.

If you select all of the packs, and use method one, you will always get this message.

The path length has been in excess of this limit for years, if all the packs are selected.
