I asked these inthis forum becuase it's apear when I used "Driver Packs"

Re: Problem with testing on "Virtual PC 2007"

I had a different (but similar) problem with files from the \I386\asms\ folder.  Most of the info I found out about it was blaming corrupt files, the quality of the CD burn, or the CD drive itself.  But, ultimately, I fixed my problem by switching from Virtual PC 2007 to VMware Workstation 6.  I had errors with most of my installs with Virtual PC, but not a single problem with VMware.  I can't be sure you are having the same problem as me since many people said that they never had that problem with Virtual PC.

Re: Problem with testing on "Virtual PC 2007"

I have another problems that I will post them as soon as possible.....but I think that totaly VM Ware is most better than Virtual PC

Re: Problem with testing on "Virtual PC 2007"

Hi
I see you posting all over the place..
I don't know if you use an ISO or run install from a burned DVD while you are testing in VPC.
You might want to first use memtest.
http://www.memtest.org/

If you run setup from a DVD, you could have a bad burn, a bad DVDwriter, or a bad reader.
(they do get bad and won't always throw an error during burn..)
BUT, you could also have some faulty RAM, and that can cause faulty reads/extracts.

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.
