Hmmmm, doesnt seem same driver that we always use for the packs
It looks different for sure, but when I ran it and looked in %TEMP%\IPMx2\All all of the usual files appeared to be there?
Does anyone think this new chipset driver release from Intel v8.3 will correct the issues with so many that are having with v8.0 that is a part of DP Chipset v7.04 or is it using v8.3 from Intel also in the latest Chipset DP? Or is the v8.3 release from Intel just modified by adding support for newer motherboards and the older chipset drivers are just carried over as part of the v8.3 package?
Intel just released v8.2.0.1014 on 7 May 2007 here:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/detail_ … p;lang=eng
It is the same drivers (but newer) we use in the chipset pack D\C\I\xp\ directory.
Can we get a 7.05.2 release?
I'm not sure what those other drivers are for that Fragbert posted. Looks like they only support Intels own motherboards.
I'd agree the "8.2.0.1014" drivers look much more like the normal drivers to me.
I've used version 8.3.0.1013 successfully on a Gigabyte P35-DS3P (ICH9). ; this version has WHQL for ICH9 new drivers.
I got it from Gigabyte website.
Official version 8.2.0.1014 does not include ICH9 support yet.

Both DriverPacks are deleted ....
they are back.
Any news on this one?
Hi!
I think it would be better to release quickly new version of DP Chipset with 8.2.0.1014, because it was ommited in the last release and it fixes frequent issue (quote from release notes):
"Fixed issue where a yellow bang on the SMBus device was seen in the Device Manager"
