ps: as about ASUS, i cannot see drivers, only manuals or utils sad

2mr_smartepants, OverFlow
ty for comments, i think that format is yymmdd (like it is was in past), it is my (my, but not official smile) final december pack for monitors, but i left .xls files for help future pack makers or modifiers, anybody can test, correct and repack it (and rename it smile
i remember ur rules for future, tnx

2compstuff
i was wrong, my mistake, in OEM folder repack is needed

2compstuff
If u talking about this:
C:\D\3\B\D\4\1483\NETDSLH.PNF Could not be removed etc.
than go to Broadband pack, may be problem is in there
If u talking about .txt and .xls, I delete them after integrating in distributive in \OEM folder.

2BigBrit
I specially left them

What a problem? i dont inderstand... .xls files? Just delete them when u integrate pack in distributive, if u not need them

2Ra
I want to add all ASUS smile If u have links, give me plz.

2newsposter
in "LCD" pack are not only LCD (some CRT inthere) and not all LCD
ps: mooooost part MB`s in mon pack is LCD part

but it done http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 300#p27300
CRT, LCD, some notebooks displays and touchscreen displays
in my last pack are .xls tables each to  1 vendor subfolder, see them
u can replace all "E:\Work\Driverpacks\3rd party DriverPacks\DP_Monitor_wnt5_x86-32_81224\DP_Monitor_wnt5_x86-32_81022" in 1st column to "%1", where %1 = ur_full_path_to_mon_dir
in !XPsp3.xls file are all monitors, supported by WinXP_Pro_sp3_en

last step is to correct old infs (delete or comment strings, that about monitors, which have new signet drivers) smile, or may be it is not really needed smile

2Helmi
tnx smile
new rules RS bored me sad

2JakeLD
yes i compare my October pack and 8.12, update and correct, but in SamLab pack are 40-50 new drivers, that are not in my pack, cause i not see them at official vendors pages, if somebody give me links, i update it smile

ps: heh, are DP_Graphics_B_wnt5_x86-32_8121.7z and DP_Graphics_C_wnt5_x86-32_8121.7z broken?

Some HW add. some updated, some unnecessary files deleted

SamLab, not all... look for example on this my Acer November collection:
http://rapidshare.com/files/174433048/ACR.rar.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/174464349/CRT.rar.html
In Iiyama folders are double files, wrong files and old unnecessary files (example PLE or HM series), look at 81022 pack please.
In MAG folder old inf must be deleted.
ps:
Why so many NEC and Viewsonic files, if installers at sites are not updated from October?
From where u download them?

2Ra
It not necessary, use only 4 files from last installer 79oi10ww, that support all LCD

"Yeah, I would think so.
Though, the question is, if it's same date and same version, most likely the checksum will be identical meaning the files are bit-identical or absolutely the same, so it does not matter which will be picked."

Than I have idea: to make fixed date for driver files and put most wanted to folder and other to subfolders... if wrong driver will installed, than in windows normal mode or safe mode user can reinstall it to support his regional driver.

ps: or "date" mean "DriverVer=mm.dd.yy, v.v.v.v" in .inf?

2SamLab
Examle: Q51 (Viewsonic) ... etc
NEC and Viewsonic deploy CRT and LCD drivers in one pack (Medion too)
http://www.viewsonic.com/support/driver … me=monitor
etc

CRT is working today at many places. I thinking about making two packs, but in SamLab DP was present CRT drivers too from some vendors. Than I add other to one pack.

Yes
Done
http://rapidshare.com/files/156342921/D … 01.7z.html

I use KTD option for all drivers, then install system, soft, prepare system for universal master image, do .tib from that system logical dive. 90% - all working, when I use recovery to other hardware by SnapDeploy+UD or by ATIES+UR.

Nice, will ur script check monitors ID in future?

"It does not help placing the files in a different dir, as setup will search them all."
I know (DS, ver, date, nDS, ver, date) but if 2 drivers are for same ID and are same version and date, which will be installed?  May be first founded?

yep, i know about stupid mistake NV, but Im asking for monitor support... will it correct, if in other subfolders will other drivers with same ID?
If in 2 inf`s (old driver and new driver)  same ID are present (audio device for example), I must to correct one of that infs (than I loose MS DS), or possible put older one in subfolder, than installer will check newer one first?
(sorry for offtop)
