I have yet to figure this one out. I have tried long and quick format, Intel or Athlon, makes no difference.
It's really rather an annoyance.

sorry I found it in another thread, hopefully someone can send me the 6.05 chipset driverpack.

well I can confirm this issue still exists. Been banging my head think I did something wrong.
Can someone provide a link to a working download for 6.05? The one Bashrat posted above no longer works.

Well, it is not the text mode drivers causing.
I'm stuck.

Latest driverpacks cause system to freeze during last reboot after gui portion of XP setup finishes. It gets stuck on the XP boot splash. Same CD with no driverpacks= installs fine. Earlier versions of driverpacks did not have the issue. I am now trying to verify which portion ( Massstorage text mode? is first guess) is causing this.
Can any point me in the direction i need to look in order to troubleshoot this?
I am not new to driverpacks but I have never had any problems before now.
XP SP2 dell oem cd
Dell Optiplex GX620

Not really, I tried it both ways, seems to make no difference.

Not a big issue but I get duplicate OS entries in my boot.ini file after installing with disk integrated with driverpacks. So it look like a dual boot system. I can just manually edit this out but I am making this for my work and I want it as hands off as possible. Does anyone know where this is getting inserted?

Also I am trying to get driverpacks and WPI to play nice but they always run on top of each other during RunOnceEx
WPI is set to 999 and Driver packs to 930. WPI always pops up over driverpacks while it is still runnning. I don't want to run driverpacks finisher from within WPI as I would like all the drivers installed first.

My cmdlines.txt:
[Commands]
"ROE.exe 930"
Royale.exe
RunWPI.cmd

OH, this is using a Dell OEM XP Pro SP2 unattended cd with the cd key stripped out so it will prompt for it.

I have already used driverpacks at previous employment but with older version and with XP Pro corp. WPI is new to me.

Bashrat, Thank you for creating this hugely time conserving project!

Okay so only #1 and #5 worked. All others just reboot at Setup is Loading Windows in text mode.
Next I will try driverpacks integrated via nLite instead of DP Base.

First, many many thank yous to all who have involved in this project, especially Bashrat smile
About a year ago I used the driverpacks to create a install cd that worked on every computer I tried. I lost hard and soft copies, sad
So now I am trying to recreate from latest Driverpacks and getting the BSOD and reboots like described elsewhere in this forum.
My main objective is to not install floppy drives in any computer, even just for the install. solution is Driverpack MassStorage.

Bashrat, have you found a solution to this issue yet? The sil3112 driver issue that is.

Here is what I am trying:
I made several CDs with different options.

1. Just XP, untouched -backup purposes but to also check if can install with latest sil3112 driver from f6 method
2. XP with updates from RyanVM and Driverpacks: MassStorage, LAN and chipset. no nLite
3. Created unattended CD with nLite from #2
4. nLited #2 source with just adding sil3112 driver from 10-7-2005
5. Just RAW XP with sil3112 (10-7-2005) driver nLited in.

I will check back tonight or tomorrow with results of each.
