Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_100312.7z worked just fine.

Thanks. I'll try it as soon as I can.
In the meantime, I've integrated WLAN 10.03 into my BartPE DVD and tested on 3 different laptops and a desktop (I'll post the details later). Works perfect smile

NV8 deleted:
sad No automatic detection on boot again.
sad Kare's DriverImportPE detected and installed a driver from DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_1003r1.7z but I was unable to start network support.

Before trying cdob's suggestion I would like to ask a few things:
- there is a flag (?) in DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini (ms_1_exc_skipIfOS="wxp,w2k3") that prevents NV8 being slipstreamed into BartPE's plugin, isn't it?
- if I leave just the NV8 folder it would not get slipstreamed, right?
- do I also need to remove ms_1_exc_skipIfOS="wxp,w2k3" before attempting to slipstream the NV8 folder alone?

Think I've found something:

Can you try deleteing the N8 folder altogether and tell me if that works?

N8: NETGEAR FA311/312  PCI Card.
NV8: the one we want!!!

My previous attempts were done after deleting N8 and not NV8.
Despite the acts of sabotage (:lol::lol:) I'll delete NV8 and try again.
If that fails, I'll also try cdob's suggestion of keeping only NV8.

sad Kare's DriverImportPE detected and installed the (proper?) driver but I was unable to start network support.

Unrelated: integrated Sound_A+B into my DVD. Didn't work. It seems my audio driver* is missing. Could get sound to work though using DriverImportPE to get the drivers from my HD installed Windows XP.

Many thanks again for all the efforts.

Nope. Didn't work sad
There was no automatic detection on boot.
Kare's DriverImport PE didn't work either. It reported finding an appropriate driver, but after importing it I could not start network support.

Can you delete the \NV\ folder from the pack, rebuild your BartPE plugin and try again?

Most certainly. I'll do it tomorrow and report back. Thanks.

I would thank you for reporting... except you did not mention whether or not it worked
I would very much like to hear how it works out for you!

Sorry lol. I was building and testing using Qemu. I did not burn a DVD. But to my surprise sound worked fine! All builds I've done since included just the supported DriverPacks.

There appears to be a problem with LAN 10.03. Just tried it with BartPE (XPE) and the network controller* was not detected on boot, only after using Kare's Drive Import PE. Reverted back to LAN 8.12.1 and all went fine (automatic detection on boot). Interestingly enough, the drivers are the same version in both packages.

Yesterday, by mistake, I clicked on "Select all" and was able to slipstream Chipset, CPU, Sound A and Sound B into BartXPE. I thought that wasn't even possible. Bug in Base 8.12.5?

I think this discussion is drifting way from the original posting.
My suggestion is combining DriverPack Graphics A + B + C in a single DriverPack called...

...DriverPack pornoGraphics XXX

Many thanks for the information JakeLD. WLAN isn't really essential (nonetheless it's nice to see it working). Hope someone knowledgeable steps in.

Just edited this post's subject to reflect my current finds.
Graphics_A-B-C and WLAN do indeed work on some computers.
I'll do some more tests and report back.
Thanks again OverFlow.

Well, I'm one of "the others" Galapo has mentioned.
I’m a university professor involved in teaching biochemistry, molecular biology and bioinformatics to undergraduate and graduate students.
Regarding the teaching of bioinformatics, before the advent of BartPE I had to struggle every beginning of academic term in order to get twenty or so computers with all the specific software I needed and properly configured for the students to use.
Then I found out about the remarkable BartPE and managed to set up a CD containing all the basic bioinformatics software I needed. Needless to say it was a huge success and the students were amazed to see so much functionality in a single live CD. Recently I've upgraded to a DVD including a Ubuntu virtual machine, allowing me to run Linux software side by side with Windows.
Some of the programs we use require graphics of a decente resolution and the Graphics Pack are helping a lot.
I know the main use of BartPE is as a support tool (the reason it was developed in the first place!) but it can also be an invaluable tool in teaching.

Already running Paraglider's HWPnP and Joshua's wireless plugins. I don't think I need Paraglider's UpdateDevices since I'm using Sherpya's XPE (1.0.7). I'll keep trying. Many thanks again.

I'm not sure if it helps but I've just tried using Driver Import PE and it could detect and find the appropriate drivers inside DriverPacks 7z files but failed to install them (with the exception of MassStorage).

Sure, no problem.
I'll be reporting my tests here and at the BartPE forum.
Many thanks.

I've just tried integrating the DriverPacks into BartPE:
- BASE 8.12.4
- Graphics_A 8.12.1
- Graphics_B 8.12.1
- Graphics_C 8.12.1
- LAN 8.12.1
- MassStorage 9.01
- WLAN 8.06
- BartPE builder 3.1.10a
- Sherpya's XPE 1.0.7

Tested on 9 different computers so far (7 desktops, 2 laptops - chipset/video/lan/wlan from VIA, nVidia/nForce, Intel, ATI, Broadcom, etc).
LAN and MassStorage are working fine.
Graphics_A-B-C and WLAN aren't working.
