aticcc.exe : ATI Catalyst Control Center
aticcp.exe : ATI Catalyst Control Panel
Both are just control panels and not drivers, you can safely delete them.

Yes, you can "remove" DP Graphics C (34 Mb), and remake DP Graphics A deleting "aticcc.exe" (10 Mb) and "aticcp.exe" (10 Mb again) inside.
DP Sound A & B : there's some ".cpl" file you may delete, but i'm not 100% sure.
All others DriverPacks don't have anything you can remove.
You can safely remove dirs like "LANG" and others inside I386 to gain some few Mb.

OemPnpDriversPath is by Windows design limited to 4096 chars. DP Base 6.08 only tells you that characters after 4096 are ignored.
Solution : use Method2 (limit is 65535 chars).

oops :d ... i'll do it before i get banned wink

French language updated for DP BASE 6.07 RC7

DP Graphic A 6.08 already includes CCC and CP v6.7 !

Maybe DP Base 6.8 now ... I guess wink !

I have also a many-in-one reader in a 3.5 bay. The usb cable goes inside the chassis and out on the back, and then is connected on a USB 2.0 port on the back of the motherboard.
Before installing any OS, I unplugg the cable ... install the OS ... and plug it after.
Otherwise ... it's a mess : the reader consists of 4 drive letters that comes before any hard disk .. sad

You could remove ATICCP.EXE to reduce 10 Mb more your pack.
D\G\A\2 : ATI Mobility Radeon & Mobility FireGL (only partial Mobility support, others are supported by the 'normal' ATI Radeon driver)
D\G\N\2 : nVidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX

@ Bâshrat the Sneaky :
I've seen a file ".DS_Store" in some directories inside DP Chisept 6.08 (and also CPU 6.08).
What's the use of it ?

Edit : it seems that is comes from your Mac .... (invisible on Mac, but can be seen on PC).

My own experience about MCE :
It required "specific" drivers which are not the same than "standard" ones.

For example, nVidia used to release two differents nForce drivers for nForce 410/430 mobos :
- one WHQL for Windows XP Pro / Home Edition
- another one WHQL for Windows Media Center

Now, very recently with nForce v8.26 it seems that there's only one driver pack smile
WinXP : http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4 … _8.26.html
WinMCE : http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4 … _8.26.html

Off topic :
The last time I installed XP Pro on my nForce 430 mobo (Asus A8N-VM CSM), made with DP_base 6.06.1 + lastest DriverPacks (chipset 605, lan 6051, massstorage 6031 ....) I had some peripherals not recognized;
DriverPacks need some update ! smile http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=256

CMDOW.EXE is fine to shadow batch files ... but is now recognized as a virus by Symantec antivirus (and maybe others).
As I can't change the default settings of NAV client on my computer at work ... the file gets deleted sad.
I have the same behaviour with the PC I'm currently working on (Norton Systemworks 2005).

Siginet as made a replacement tool :
http://siginet.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21

I can do "Francais.lng" (french) ! smile

However, nForce 410/430 isn't listed ... and still require a different nForce v8.26 driver :-s :
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4 … _8.26.html

@Bâshrat the Sneaky : can you update DP Chipset, DP LAN, DP MassStorage ...  with nForce 6.86 & 8.26 ? Thanks.
