Helmi so now only part of drivers are integrated?

I would include physx since the recent versions are distributed with drivers and for that reason I can consider tham as part of drivers.  If someone has to download and extract drivers to install physx it defeats the purpose of using driverpacks.

to clarify

177.83 whql
177.98 whql

both integrate physx installers.

only earlier versions of physx were seperate.

is no problem if its diffilcult.

yes is a creative xifi, the utility typically isnt installed as part of drivers but of the driver cd.

However if running the driver cd it forces the installation of the older driver.

Is no problem thanks for replying.

yes that was incredible.

Thanks for been up to date downloading the test pack now.

Hi, this is the first time I integrated sound, the problem I have is as follows.

Sound works, I have the very basic audio console which allows changing of most settings.

However I think 2 important panels are missing, the one which allows you to test speakers and thx, I think thx has integrated speaker test so really just 1 panel.

The thx has the bass redirect and amplified sound settings which I use.

The situation is to install these apps you have to go back to the original cd which then rolls you back to the 1st driver which defeats the purpose of integrating the sound driver in the first place.

Is it possible to integrate the thx driver into the sound pack?

seems to work ok on 7600GT and SP3, had to change res to something decent but the driver is fine.

I am downloading this now to test, it would have been nice tho to see the full changelog from stable version.

I reinstalled again on my main pc and this time 7600gt pci-e detected and working on integrated drivers so it just seems for some weird reason the first time failed, but subsequent installations are fine.

ok guys I used the same cd for my 2nd pc as for this pc so didnt reintegrate.

Watched the driver extraction at start of gui setup and confirm it extracts the testpack.

I then noticed the screen flicker during detect devices which is a sign it was detcting the gfx.

Confirmed at end of install accelerated installed graphics driver on first boot.

So this works fine on a agp geforce fx 5500 but didnt work on my pci express asus 7600GT.

hardware is here will hopefully do today.

yep waiting on shipment of a new dvd drive for the old pc, when it arrives ill do a new xp cd and install on that, it has a nvidia 5500 card which has no drivers by default so I should still be able to see if the driverpack works.

I tried this pack and for me it didnt work the display device wasnt installed I have a 7600GT card.

However this is the first time I have ever used driverpacks so I may have did something wrong, all the other driver packs I used did work tho (lan, chipset, mass storage).

I have now reinstalled using the windows cd with the drivers on and have to say superb.  My motivation for doing this was I previously had to use the asus cd to install my lan/ide/chipset drivers and it completely messed it up automatically rebooting just as windows was popping up a detected new hardware box and causing all sorts of problems.  Also the drivers in your driverpacks are newer then the latest publiched on the asus website which was useful.

On the new install of windows all my chipset drivers and lan card working it also allowed me to install in AHCI mode as the SATA was detected in setup.  The only downside was my gfx drivers wasnt installed on my 7600GT, this may have been because I decided to use your latest test pack for the graphics.

I wasnt sure wether or not to choose gui ron once or the 2nd option, I stuck to the gui run once which seems the best option as I see it extracted the drivers during the gui setup meaning they were detected on the detecting devices part very clever.

--edit--

I apologise it is working now the folder i386 itself was read only.
