Still not fixed in "DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_1001b1.7z"?? sad

This issue is still NOT fixed in http://driverpacks.sytes.net/driverpack … _912130.7z
sad

the folder "NV" does not contain the following files, as it should have:
\PreNRM
\bdco1.dll
\fdco1.dll
\nvconrm.dll
\nvefd2k.sys
\nvefdxp.sys
\nvenetfd.cat
\nvenetfd.inf
\nvenetfd.tag
\nvnetbus.cat
\nvnetbus.inf
\nvnetbus.sys
\nvnetbus.tag
\nvnrm.nvu
\nvnrm.sys
\nvsnpu.sys
\nvunrm.exe
\PreNRM\WinXP
\PreNRM\WinXP\fdco1.dll
\PreNRM\WinXP\nvcoe.dll
\PreNRM\WinXP\nvenet.cat
\PreNRM\WinXP\nvenet.nvu
\PreNRM\WinXP\nvenet.sys
\PreNRM\WinXP\nvenetxp.inf
\PreNRM\WinXP\nvuenet.exe

There might be different folders containing these files (eg. "NV3") but they have a different driver versions (see .inf-file) which is not compatible with nforce2 boards)

It seems this is not yet fixed in "DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_90904.7z" as the mentioned files above are still missing!

I guess the problem lies within the following files that are actually missing: "nvnetbus.cat", "nvnetbus.inf", "nvnetbus.sys", "nvnetbus.tag". Adding these should solve the problem and add support for the "NVIDIA Network Bus Enumerator" that seems to have the same hardware-id as the corresponding network interface card.

Thank you,

glad I could help smile

To clarify, I am using:
nForce_5.10_WinXP2K_WHQL_international\Ethernet\   (=NVIDIA Network Bus Enumerator, which is essential!)
AND
nForce_5.10_WinXP2K_WHQL_international\Ethernet\PreNRM\WinXP\ (=NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller)

Hi,

I just wanted to inform you, that nforce2 based ethernet chipsets will choose the "NV"-folder during installation.
However this driver does not install the necessary "NVIDIA Network Bus Enumerator". Therefore the ethernet will fail to work eventually. (I my case it always failed when I wanted to remote access my shared drives).

The drivers from the nvidia Unified Drivers v5.10 worked flawlessly
http://www.nvidia.de/object/nforce_udp_ … 10_de.html

I tested the DPLAN 8.121 and the "nightly DriverPack LAN 903n2" with the same negative result.
Exchanging the contents of the "NV" folder with the driver version from the nvidia driver pack 5.10 worked for me.

Just to let you know and improve the DP's quality!

Cheers!

Thank you!

- update contains a major version number (from 11.x to 12.x)
- might be one of the most used drivers on intel-laptops

sure, but the pack already includes fingerprint drivers -> see "SupportList - DP CardReader.txt"

Thanks, great pack for laptops! smile

As you already included some fingerprint drivers, please also integrate the fingerprint driver for device
USB\Vid_08ff&Pid_2580&Rev_0623
since it's very common in IBM Thinkpads/Lenovo, HP Pavillon, etc laptops.

Thanks guys.
The CP is IMHO not really necessary. Everything above 640x480 with more than 8 colors is very appreciated wink

It is the same package, as the second set "Rage Pro" (8.19MB - 5.10.2600.6010) included in the "\ATIDrive" folder of the downloadable exe.

I have an older ATI RAGE 2x graphics card, that is not covered by DriverPack Graphics B

It would be great, if these drivers will be added to folder "A\3"
