I have been using DriverPacks for some time at my job; I found a computer that is not supported though. Work bought some computers that were on sell that have Vista on them but at work we only use 2000, so I had to reformat. The problem is that the Ethernet controller was not installed like it should have been. I can not even find the right driver that I need online.

Here is the computers they bought...

I was told that it had this MOBO in them...but I think that is wrong because this MOBO is for notebooks.

If this could be updated into the next update that would be great, but if someone knows the link to where I can DL the network driver so I can get this up and running, even better.

It was said above "It would be nice to have a large collection of devicedrivers ready on the drive." I am needed to make a cd that will find and then install just the drivers that are needed on a computer. I do not need it to store 200mgs of drivers on the computer just in case I might need them.

Is the method that is listed above still what I need if not can some one link me to any link that would help me in this...

Thank you for you time and help.

Great....so far I am loving the idea of these driver packs. Thanks for the link to the Tutorial I can see where it will help.

On a side question, in the screen shots I see that your windows explorer looks different. That is done using StyleBuilder right?

At my work place they still use Windows 2000 since the network admin can not get the network to work right with XP. Since he is a volunteer I just got stuck with the job of setting up any and all "new" computers. The problem comes when I install Windows 2000 it does not have the same driver support like XP does. That means that I have to first find then download all the right drivers. After two computers that is getting very old....

When I install XP on a computer it finds the right drivers that the computer needs with out the user having to pick any options. I was wondering if I was to "slipstream" the driver parks from this site into W2K if it would act more like XP does, or it the user would still have to find the right drivers on the CD that they need to install?
