I did try to start UpdateChecker and I was offered to update new nightly DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_81015 to old final DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_8102 (sorry for very low quality of picture):

Hello to all.

In dp absent next files from SourceDisksFiles section of nv4_disp2.inf:

nvdispsr.dll
nvgamesr.dll
nvmccssr.dll
nvmoblsr.dll
nvvitvsr.dll
nvwssr.dll

I am using dp graph 8.04 (mobility radeon inf modified by Mobility Modder) and all works ok, nvidia and ati... ATICCC installed too, but I'm using other driver integrator and I can't to say noyhing about it...

Jaak
I think so - to test my nightly before releasing it is better decision.

mr_smartepants
There are Vista drivers only at the Asus site. I think we need just to use Mobility Modder.

SamLab
May I to look Setupapi.log file?

mr_smartepants
No, I've downloaded 8.5 Mobility Catalyst and I don't find my driver in it. And these drivers never be in Mobility Catalyst. Quote from Mobility Modder Site:

ATI have for many years had their hands tied with laptop manufacturers (OEMS)
who request that ATI do not offer support for their device in the Catalyst Driver. This
may seem strange, however makers such as Dell may have implemented their own
support system and they do not want their customers downloading "reference" drivers
from ATI's home page.

Jaak
No, I don't. I'll try...

Sorry for long absence...

Please add to new dp HWID PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_95C4&SUBSYS_19E21043 (ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470).

I can't to get a link to this driver, but you can to use DH Mobility Modder.NET (http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php) (I used tihis tool too)

Sorry for long absence...

Did you test this Vista driver with Windows XP? I can to add all new hwids to .inf file, of course, but your driver more new and I want to update DP with them.

error_404

I will see what I can to add... But many of Acorp modems builded on Conexant chips, and I am afraid it conflicts with existing drivers...

sevencat, then we will have to create our own database... sad

I don't know how everest detect that, maybe by motherboard?

I think Everest detect that by motherboard id, for example, type in google: nf-ck804-6a61fg0ac-00 (that name shows my motherboard below screen when it detects ram, cpu and hard disks), and you will know what it is Gigabyte K8NF9. More example: 63-122-0000010-00101111-090806-intel-p4i6g122-y2kc means AsRock P4I65G.

To all - if we are could to create a program to detect motherboard id before fake setup, and to create the motherboard id database (or to find it somewhere), we are will to install all problem drivers ideally, each problem driver for each problem motherboard.

Errrrgh, I'm so tired to transform my thougths in English smile

realhyg, I tried to start Everest instead fake setup, and everest not started. At T-39 all progs as fake setup must be written in API (i hope you are understand what I mean).

OverFlow, SoundMax Control Panel is difficult to install by ini file. It hasn't cpl file. It installs by InstallShield, and to create .iss file (to make silent install), panel installer must to setup at motherboard with that soundmax chip, else the panel installer show an error message.

Jaak, to prevent of double work, I decided to warn about my plans to continue a work with SoundMax in Asus notebooks, barebones and desktops.

EDIT:

And how about 1-10 HDA folders?

Jaak, I have downloaded all SoundMax drivers for Asus motherboards from official site. I almost prepared my smax release for asus MoBo's, but I'm afraid you doing too many changes with SM Driverpack. I think it seems to be better if I upload all my work to ftp and I give a possibility to release smax driverpack yourself, and you?

I have SiI 3132 onboard at my MoBo (MSI K8N Diamond). But I haven't two sata HDDs to work with DriverPacks... I want to try to build raid with two IDE HDDs via IDE>SATA converters. Do you know could work it or not?
