Looking at the main page of DPacks, a post by Bashrat says he's waiting for Drupal 6 to arrive which made me conclude that dpacks.net is built on drupal.

i want to learn CMS, but i can't decide which route will i go. is it Drupal or Joomla or any other you can suggest.

tnx. smile

I've got no clue why you got this AutoIt error. Please post your DPs_BASE.log.

I found where I went wrong. It's because I didn't choose "Enable QSC". I suggest/recommend that in the future DPBase, when the user opted for Method 1, it will automatically "enable QSC".

Another question. May I know what DriverPacks that I need to remove so I will not get the "exceeded 4096" error when using Method 1? Tnx.

Method 1 is your problem.
There's a limitation in the way Windows handles the driver entries (path string statement limit of 4096 characters.) and method 1 exceeds that limit when using all the DriverPacks.
Your best bet is to use Method 2 and if you need access to all the drivers post-install then enable KTD (keep the drivers).
Method 2 is much faster than method 1 anyway and should be the default.

yes, you are right. i received that error the second time i tried it.

I downloaded all the latest driverpacks including the 3rd party packs. the base is also up to date. i'm in the process of integrating the drivers (using Method 1) in my nLited source and received this error message:

I captured the image error. Any idea where I went wrong? Tnx.

thanks a lot bashrat smile

You can set it up in the advanced options.
Also, the default is no longer C:\D\, it's %SYSTEMDRIVE%\DriverPacks now (ususally C:\Windows\DriverPacks\)

thanks helmi. so i'll just set it as %ProgramFiles%\DriverPacks?

instead of "C:\D", i want KTD to be in "Program Files\Driverpacks". please tell me how to do it...

I want to place the Drivers (KTD) in Program Files\DriverPacks, how will I do it?

Now that DP is open source, I hope that one of these days printer drivers from the big three companies (HP, Epson, Canon) will be included in the driverpacks. smile
