Blah didn't work no bsod, but that's because the driver just didn't install this time. Well, at least all I gotta do now is install it myself lol.
Anyway, if anyone figures this out, thanks... otherwise I'll live with what I've got.

Adapting what I've read about in the solution from several years ago... I'm replacing
%NVIDIA_DEV.01DA.01% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01DA
%NVIDIA_DEV.01DB.01% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01DB
with
%NVIDIA_DEV.01DA.01% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D7
%NVIDIA_DEV.01DB.01% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D8
Gonna slipstream this pack and try to deploy, stay tuned.
So do I interpret the last reply as I should rerun the HWID scan on the fully built system? Or that I'm screwed trying to use driverpacks to build it? lol
The reason I used the quote tag was to highlight the difference between my laptop's hwid string and proximous'. Guess I could have just not included the full output. But anyway, does that help explain anything to anyone? I actually have multiple laptops with this same problem, all d620's, so I know this one isn't special.
Anyway, I can just give up one these it's not too big of a deal for me. The d620's are getting closer to out of warranty by the day, but I figured I'd give it a shot here on the forums.
Thanks again
I have a D620 that works great with the latest released packs:

Looks like something is different in that line. Is that trailing piece critical? I ran this in WinPE, so maybe that's why the name says just Video Controller. But the BIOS confirms it's the Quadro NVS 110M.
Yeah the Dell drivers do work, I haven't tried drivers from Nvidia on this model (at least I don't recall, I get to deal with so much variety) but I usually don't have problems using ATI/Nvidia drivers versus the Dell provided ones. I know packing lots of drivers together is tricky business, and using non reference chipsets and calling them something they aren't doesn't make life easier for driver support.
I'll check tomorrow at work what the hwid's are on this laptop, thanks for your reply so far.
This issue got solved several years ago in the thread below.
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=1195
I've had this problem with the last three revisions of the Graphics A pack. I'm trying to do my own fix based on the old thread. Will post results as soon as I get a good build / yet another bsod.
Advice, help is appreciated... thanks.
[edit] Wanted to mention that I include all of the standard driverpacks in my slipstream, so I haven't tried singling them out. I made some assumptions after finding the old thread. Based on what I've seen in the latest NV4_GO.INF, I suspect I may be right that the issue has resurfaced.
