6.08 isn't ready yet wink The link I sent you IS the latest test version.... It was planned to be released in July, not August, hence we're still at 6.07 rc...

i have a workaround
i copied dp chipset 6.08 in the third party folder and integrated it successfully

But now the Intel .inf files haven't been copied to $OEM$\$$\INF. That's fine, as long as you don't use a motherboard based on a Intel chipset.

dziubek, please attach the updated file to the bugtracker issue you just updated (issue #128). No need to keep posting updated translations here. This forum is rather meant for discussing translations (suggesting improvements for example), because the forum is more accessible than the bugtracker.

Here is the update for the Norwegian language DriverPack Base 6.07 RC7.

Keep up the good work Bâshrat!

Gyppie cool

Please use the bugtracker as explained in the new guidelines I referred to in the e-mail wink Thanks!

Here it is, all entered in the bugtracker, just as desired (I hope wink):

does this work?

EDIT: Kind of annoying, that, whenever you use the word bugtracker it auto-transforms it into the URL, breaking any URLs containing the word...

No more wink Now it's only transformed in case of 'the_bugtracker' (where '_' is a space)

Thanks!

guyverrs and sat_dish, you both are Beta Testers now wink

@guyverrs: ok, that'd be much appreciated smile

Eh... That's possible I guess.

Lots of respect for you, poor ME user.... Been there, done that. Could not reproduce it for you though. My only suggestion is that you use a different OS, lol. (It's also possible that the CLI version of 7zip does not work as expected when executed in Windows ME...)

Many SATA RAID controller drivers in the DriverPacks cost >500 USD. That's not enterprise-level hardware you think? If it's necessary, then it will be added. Besides, it's just a few KB anyway...

So many people having this problem all of a sudden :s Two possibilities: 1) pure coincidence or 2) a boost in the number of DriverPacks users...

Please have a BIT more patience until DriverPack Sound B 6.08 will be released!

Sorry Bâshrat but I was up till late updating two difrent lng files, the one you emailed and the one from rc7 so I rushed it and made allot of mitakes, but im confident in this 6.07rc7/6.08 lng release

Please use the bugtracker to send it to me, so it will get in the changelog too! wink

1. Report Issue.
2. Assign Issue to yourself.
3. Change Status to resolved, upload the file and set that it's solved in the next version (which is 6.08).

Voila.

Ah, that's solved in 6.08... wink Sent you an e-mail.

Hi RogueSpear has suggested I ask you to make me a betatester as he is of the opinion that your new release Version 6.08  will correct the problem I'm having.

OK, you are now smile wink

I trust RogueSpear's judgement, especially since I don't know where this 'bug' leads to...

When did I recommend method 1 over 2? I always recommend method 2.

And yes, you must register at the bugtracker too... I will merge the user accounts, but don't have the time to do that yet....

I've changed that quite a bit, yes, but it was working during my tests. Will try to reproduce the problem.

Nope, it was the most obvious guess wink I've implemented this in DriverPack Sound B 6.08, so it will be fixed for you wink

Most people don't have this problem, but it seems those with a very specific version of Windows XP do experience it.

EDIT: forgot to tell: I haven't made this an option, I've just set all BusExtenders to be CABbed to upper case files wink

Please post:
-a copy of winnt.sif file (but then the RIS equivalent, forgot the filename for a moment)
-a screenshot of your directory structure
-a screenshot of the directory structure of the DriverPacks inside \$OEM$\$1

Glad it's solved, coucou smile

And your OemPnPDriversPath is TOO long then. All entries listed after the 4096th character will not be processed. (Most likely DriverPack Sound and WLAN entries). You may want to use method 2...

And maybe an option to autostart when you use the DP_Base commandline driven with the "/settings:" switch.

Will do too.

Note that you can send the {ALT}+{S} key combo to start the Slipstream (in case you use English or Dutch, may be different when you're using another language).

hehe.... I guess you're one of the few that would like to slipstream several times in a row tongue Will do, my friend, will do smile

He sent us the .lng for 6.08 via email, I translated that one and then I tranlated/updated the rc7 one also.

The one he sent by email for 6.08 and the new rc7 are not compatible thats why I had to do both.

They ARE compatible, except for one entry in which was a typo. 6.07 rc7 will be equal to 6.08...

Oh, sorry, yes that's correct. The path I mentioned is for DriverPack Sound B 6.08.

I will fix this in the next update.

Please verify that you have the file 'bin\wnt5_x86-32\M2.7z'.
