cmd /c DEL /f /q %systemdrive%\DSPdsblr.exe

We don't' support Galapos app either post it in the other thread where you posted the first time or post it in his support thread over at 911 http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=22064

It is not likely that he will see it here since he is not subscribed to the thread you just created today wink
At least he won't see it right away... please post a link to here in the OLSP thread (where you posted the first time and got a response.)

Once he is aware of your thread he can subscribe to it and then you can go from here... I just don't want you to think you are being ignored... but you will be if you don't let Galapo know your here wink.

Have a great day and best of luck.

you can't add drivers to BartPE by slipstreaming them into your source. That won't work, and will in fact corrupt your source. (at least for use with BartPE)

I think mr_smarteapnts wanted you to do an install and see if the driver was picked up...

ONLY USE a CLEAN XP SP2 source for BartPE... (or clean 2k3)

You won't want to or need to create a driverpack for BartPE

You will need to either
1) add it to the  "\drivers" folder of your BartPE or
2) create a "plugin" in the plugin folder of your BartPE

The simpler of the two solutions is to add your driver to the Your_path_here\pebuilder\drivers\your_driver_folder_here

Simply copy the INF and SYS files to that folder along with any other supporting files that exist with your driver.

- IE Put any files referenced in your drivers INF in the "your_driver_folder_here" folder, and build your source as normal.

IDK Why you would need this in BartPE... I can backup image and remove a virus just fine without a mouse... (and if you can't you should not be fixing PCs for a living) SOOO who cares if the mouse has the wrong name??? So it says its a PS2 mouse instead of a touch pad...

IF it is working why bother???

If it is not working... Who cares? Your a Tech ain'tcha?... Hang a freaking mouse on it and call it a day.

DSPdsblr.exe is deleted automatically by the DriverPacks Finisher...

you don't need to do anything from a batch file...

that guide is for NT5 platforms ( win 2k, win xp, and win 2k3 )

the Vista / Win 7 guides are here http://driverpacks.net/docs/miscellaneous-guides

and a tool here http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4200

My bad... you did not state that this was related to BartPE plugins.

Third party DriverPacks are not selectable for BartPE... at least not in any current release of DriverPacks BASE.

you will need to add these manually to your PE disc.

Please see 'read BEFORE you Post' linked in my signature...

We need your:
DPs_BASE.log
HWID's
section of your setupapi.log that deals with this device.

Also we do not accept drivers from third parties

Tutorial linked in my signature

Can you post your HWID's please

Sure wait till i release it, and then report an issue... smile tongue wink.
Your testing team status is now revoked LOL!

I'll take a look at it and see if i can figure it out..
I do see that your HWID (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2829) was moved from I3 to I4 but i will have to do some more digging to see why...

Can you try moving the HWID back to I3 in your 10.06 DriverPack_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini file and test for me?

Released

Check the download pages for changelogs...

Mass http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/wind … rage/10.06

BASE http://driverpacks.net/applications/dri … base/10.06

Many thanks to Erik and the entire testing team.
Thanks to the translation team, several updates submited and two new languages added, Korean and Chinese-(Taiwan)

Please take a good look at the 'update checker' page, there was LOTS of changes including the ability to see the change log from BASE and an MD5 checksum routine to detect a bad download.

Thanks Guys!
You make this...
   A) Worth doing.
   B) Possible to get done!

Jeff

I was pretty sure that the second quote in your signature was from the Bible wink.

But a google search Says that i am wrong... tongue

Thanks for the updates smile
I have looked thrue the DriverPack_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini it should work, cause it have the necessary VEN/DEV strings, but i`ll check if it see the drive.
Btw the Nightlies are only mass storage or the chipsets also ?

the nightlies are our test packs... they may or may not be stable. Testing only, not for production.
What is found there depends on who is working on what... Since we are all volunteers, there may be any given pack, or none, or all...

The best thing to do is to use the official releases until you have an issue. Once you d;iscover an issue let us know what the HWIDs of the offending device are and what pack versions you used.... IE Provide us your DPs_BASE.log and HWIDs output wink. then we will either invite you to try a nightly or we will create a nightly for you to test... Much like we did in this thread.... However next time we might be able to get to the finish line a little quicker now that you are familiar with our system big_smile.

jeff

Thanks for reporting you have helped make DriverPacks better for everyone!

Have an awesome day!

How did you burn your Disc?

the latest drivers are for testing team use only... however the location of the files is not a huge secret... Many users who are not on the testing team use them... That is to say you can NEVER say the latest version... especially if you don't even know what the latest version is... The latest version (for XP 2K and 2K3) is 10.05.29 - and you said you had the latest wink tongue... Do you see how confusing that is for us?  Never say i have the latest... always State Your Version!

mass 10.05.29 requires DriverPacks BASE 10.06.rc1 to work correctly if you had used the latest Mass without the latest BASE your install would have failed.

Again if you do not give good details we can't help you... always specifically state your versions and your OS and it's SP level... Fair enough?

try these and report success or failure please...

Mass 10.05.29
BASE 10.06.RC1

Thanks for your feedback.

Please try to help us to help you by providing good details in your posts (See Read BEFORE you post)
Code tags added to your post for you...

Jeff

please use the hwids tool (linked in my signature) and post the output here.
this will help us to help you

Also... you failed to mention some Key details...
IE are you installing 2003 server or windows 2000, perhaps XP? What Service pack level is it?

Since you indicated you used the latest Mass Storage pack...
I will assume you used DriverPack MassStorage 10.05.29? (that is the latest available)
If not then please state specifically which version you did use...
did you select the text mode drivers?

It is allways required to put the DriverPacks BASE version in your title (or at least in your post)

much of the info needed to help you is contained in your DPs_BASE.log which is why it is required (Rule #0) to be included in your post.

Please see "Read BEFORE you post" AKA Rule#0 which is linked in my signature.
Please check off each numbered item as you include them in your post. TIA

you can't post them for us... Since we won't accept drivers from third parties....
We need you to post the direct link to where you downloaded it from at Dell...

thanks for your feedback!

DVDr are not very reliable I suggest it is a bad burn...

It is definately not a DriverPacks related issue... (we only support DriverPacks related issues)

Have a great day

the problem with Nvidia is the chipset and the mass drivers must be updated at the same time and must be matching versions.... even then it is hit or miss... Keep the excellent feedback flowing!!
