And as far as i know we dont support that tool
I think you do a better search next time
But I am THE ADMIN !!!
Did you try?
Ok good luck
Well sorry i cant give you any info on XP to MCE, i think thats NOT very legal.
But thats msfn , that site blows anyway...
Ok but you have to remove all driver things you used before.
And only use the driverpacks.
And for the updates , go read this : http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4370 ( I know youre Dutch, so link is to the Dutch pack.)
Just take a clean/fresh XP , and download all the driverpacks, and hotfix packs.
Integrate the hotfixes in XP, (Maybe with some addons)with the integrator.( better dont use Nlite )
After that slipstream the driverpacks, with Bashrats base.
Thats all.
Ok first of all the error you posted is MCE ( Media center )
There is no way to integrate Media Center, either you have XP or you have MCE.
And if you mean the updates for MCE...thats a whole diffferent story.
2nd, How did you integrate things?(all exept the drivers) NLITE or the Integrator?
If you used the integrator make sure you go to the advanced tab, and mark : Convert Unicode to ANSI
Otherwise it will mess up SVCPACK.INF
3th, No you cant simulate hardware in vmware.
And last , why would you remove all other things?
Maybe a bit more info about your XP and things you put in and with what, would clear things up.
Unpack the base to a folder, lets say : D:\drivers
After unpacking there wil be a few folders , one of them is named "Driverpacks"
Copy the driverpacks to this folder( Do not unpack them )
Then start the base and point to your folder whith your XP.
I think from here you can do this yourself, if not let me know.
I loaded the Vista modem driver on XP and it works like a charm.
Can some one confirm this? if yes we can try to add it to the packs.
Helmi i add this "problem" to the driver test area now.
this one can be closed
Helmi?
Here is the error i get when i try to use the Vista driver
Euh.... does the word DUH mean anything to you?
Very good ! , but would you please remove the first post , the one without the code tags.
Just put "removed" there.
Or put the code tags in that post and remove the hwids one from the last post.
You can use "edit"
its at the bottom of your post "Report | Edit | Quote"
post HWIDS
Nice find JT
Hi, first of all welcome..
2nd, please do a bit reasearch before posting.
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4
EDIT:
I looked at the driver but thats just the ATI driver, wich is already supported.
EDIT 2 :
The HWIDS are not supported for this device in the driver we are using.
Yep sorry mr pants.......but there isnt any time for this.
We still doing this with 3 man, in our spare time.
And believe me we doing as much as we can to make the packs work for everyone.
I would like to see special graphics drivers to, like omega for ATI , and the XtremeG driver for Nvidia...
Maybe in the future i will make packs like that.
But for now , there is no time for it.
Sorry but all 3 drivers are for the same device , i cant add all 3.
Hi, next time use the edit button and use code tags please...
On some slower pc's it could take a while.
Wrong place for this to ask
And no more ATI and NVIDIA requests anymore please.
believe me I KNOW when these come out !!!
And sorry i dont do any mods, you have to do that one yourself.
Yep, there are more then one on the site he gave us, takes me to much time to check this each time.
So thats why its importand to give the right link to the driver(s)
Or they can put it on a site like rapidshare and upload it there , and post the link here.
Exact link to the drivers please.
Maybe its just not possible to boot from.
Helmi close pls
thx JT
Works like a charm here.....and on many pcs's we install here every day.
