Next time  a more exact link please, now it will not implemented  because of this , sorry.

The driver you posted is older then the one that is already present in the pack.

Soundblaster drivers do work on Server 2003.

I install Server 2003 in two scenarios:

1 - In VMware
2 - On my real machine.

In DRIVER.CAB for XP it contains something like 500 or 600 files that are
not in the Server 2003 DRIVER.CAB.

In VMware for example, Server 2003 Enterprise will not install the onboard Creative sound drivers,
you have to get the XP driver and it works.

On my real machine however, my onboard sound works, it is hit and miss which is why I am
opening a new topic to request... something wink

Yep in vmware you have  another sound device, and that one is a long time ago reported as not working.
No one has a slolution for this yet.

Muiz has a point here..

I did look at that file, and expanded it, but cannot for the life of me remember wether I took action.
had I done so, it would have been commented in the changelog (When I first started doing changes, that could result in a log not neccesarily with my name next to it. Later on I got aware the team NEEDS awareness of every interim version change.)

anyway, muiz has a point.
sooner or later, it gets asked as a properly put request, without team or mod having to go to extra length to figure out wether other team member is looking at it.
(actually, I thought muiz was handling it)

We have to do this , otherwise its getting a bigger mess.

I hope you all understand...

Nope, we dont handle  incorrect requests anymore.

Sorry...

I dont have the board anymore, so i cant test it...sorry sad

No problem wink

Nice work by the way...!!!

But ini name is wrong it has to be :

DriverPack_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini instead of DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini

Cant wait for vista support, got it unattended already, only the drivers still missing

here some new guides :

You can always install from network also, then you dont even need usb drives wich are slower then the network wink

and sometimes, it is best to not do it.. we killed a mobo doing that, once.

you flashed the backup bios also, knowing that the bios did not work.
So.... that wasnt a very smart thing to do wink

In order to fit on a slipstream CD

.

In forum "Other » Looking for a good DriverPacks Tutorial..." I've explained the WinXPsp2 directory takes 453 MB (after deleting LANG, WINNTUPG, WIN9XMIG and WIN9XUPG). Including add-ons and the driver packs  won't fit on a CD. DVD is not an option, because only two PC's have one.

For the other options I mentioned there I'm in lack of knowledge and can't find the solution on the forum. I'd preffer to install from USB hard disk or network, since size doesn't matter there wink However, I can't figure out how to do it.

Thats why they invented the DVD........

another undesirable side effect of OEMPREINSTALL=YES is you cant use hit F6 to supply a driver on a floppy

just put the floppy in without hit F6 , it wil load the driver automaticly.

I tried to post a test pack for that, but no one tested it, so we closed it.
