Dunno about the HD3400 series but the HD3800 (and subsequently the HD4800) definately kick ass and are very well worth their quite low price!

Well I wasn't going to buy it for performance. tongue
I'm desperate to test the HD-series ATI cards in a controlled environment just to ensure this is working.  This was just the cheapest option. smile

Arrrggghhh!  The card came today and...it doesn't have a HDMI port. sad
I really should have done my homework.  I wanted to test the HDMI drivers (there's a conflict between G_A and S_A).

Oh well, testing will commence this weekend. smile

On to the promised land...

Let us know how they work out...they're still beta.

As I suspected, bad DVD.
Bad DVD, naughty bad DVD!  <whip crack>

Try rebuilding your source from scratch again.  Then rebuild the ISO and test that ISO in virtualbox.  If all is well, burn to DVD then test that DVD in virtualbox.
THEN test in real metal hardware.

The older DP Soud like April seemed to support this device but the newer DP Sound removed it.

That's because it was a generic HWID that caught too many 'other' hardware devices instead of the one it was meant for.

I updated the S_A dp in the testing team area.

Sounds like a bad CD/DVD burn.  Did you try installing XP under a VM like VirtualPC or VirtualBox?
If you integrated DriverPacks, and everything got copied over during txtsetup and XP got past the T-39 stage of install; then we have a problem.  Otherwise, something different is wrong with your XP install source.

First post updated. Fixed ATICCC install bug.

Just do a search for "DPsFnshr.log" on the affected system and you'll find it.

Can you email me your DPsFnshr.log?  It's found at - %SystemRoot%\DPsFnshr.log
And your DPBase.log file?

Argh!
Found a bug in the ATICCC DPfinisher install code.

8.07c uploading

New G_C 8.07a uploading too. Changed ATICCC install code.

Welcome to DriverPacks!

We need a little more info than "Tried your pack but it doesn't help".
Can you read this post then report back?
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4

Also, I find it difficult to believe you can't change ANY settings in the bios.  You must have a setting for your hard drive controller for either 'AHCI' (recommended) or 'Legacy'.
That error code is usually caused by the hard drive not responding to queries.  Either a hardware problem, or driver problem.

Welcome to DriverPacks! smile

Your 1394 port is NOT ethernet or WLAN, it's FireWire.
Can you read this post, then report back?

Just so you know, I cannot get my Atheros WLAN card working at all because of missing drivers.  It's possible your card is not supported by our DriverPacks.  Which is why it's important you supply us with the information in that post.

Mass Storage (Windows not installed on some PCs with SATA drivers, but without DP installed works fine)!

Thanks SamLab for the encouraging news.
Can you be more specific on what hardware these were tested on?  G_B 8.07a has LOTS of changes, it'd be nice to know what worked. smile
And we can't fix Mass Storage without knowing what's wrong.  Please reply in the appropriate M_S thread.

Are this lines required for same driver that are included in the DriverPack ? If i remove this line do i get some problems afterwords with same drivers ?

Yes, they are required ONLY if you don't want to see the alert dialog during Windows setup about unsigned drivers.  See, not all of the drivers included in the DriverPacks are digitally signed.

You didn't even give the modem DP a chance. wink

Try the card reader DP here: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2344

Indeed.  There's a guy at work trying to sell his brand-new P300 Sattelite (3-wks old, bought for $1200) for about $900 out of frustration because he can't get XP working.  I'm tempted to buy it just because it's a great gaming notebook I can take on my 'trips' in addition to having a new mobile testing platform to replace my 4-yr old notebook.
Toshiba sux. sad

Still uploading though.  Should be done in about 30 minutes.  I'm off to bed.
Doublecheck MD5 in case the upload doesn't finish.

Well, M$ introduced those 'non-standard' practices years ago with their html proxy server/client 'handshake'.  Pretty shady if you ask me.  Made IE6 look really fast compared with those other browsers when accessing pages served from M$ servers.
All my websites are coded to pass the w3c validator service. http://validator.w3.org/

Oh God, not again!
807b is uploading now, and it does NOT include the hotfix drivers.
*Edit, OK now those damn hotfix drivers are in there!  Re-uploading.

SamLab wrote:

807b!!! good!!! nvidia 177.70 or not... pity that the changes appear later fills

No 177.70.  807b includes the new(er) re-release of the 175.19 WHQL drivers from 9 July.
Besides, we haven't had a release dp since April.  I'd like to get the bugs worked out of these before we start playing with Cuda/PhysX drivers.

Heh, grabbed it this morning before I went to work.
Again, I didn't tell anybody...:)

It's on order now.  Just found a $10 rebate for the same card here.
I also bought a RAID/NAS unit with gigabit for my media storage.  Yum!

Back on topic.
I should be ready to release G_A 8.07b with the new 8.7 cats either today or tomorrow.  ATI still has not released the new mobile drivers yet.

WE shouldn't have to "ensure our website is ready"!
M$ should ensure IE8 is compatible with the web standards that are already in use!  That's why they're called "standards".
