New test pack should resolve your issue:

well Intel driver is not official yet, we can't comprise the pack with leaked drivers. However, I will update the test pack with the new Intel beta release tonight.

Nope, not a single 'driver' in there.

Dude your lost....a driver is a .sys file, .inf is like a setup, it tell where the sys should be copied and add some registry entries and the .cat file is the digital signature. Google it next time.

I'm the one who added the Intel 13.01 drivers and they were WHQL and taken from Intel website. They were not leaked from you know where, so if there is an issue, don't be sorry big_smile

Good job buddy! If intel could hurry up and release their mas storage drivers this one could be made official.

I'm on it big_smile

Thanks for the tip, it's gonna be helpful.

sound good but tellme how do youc ompress a file ? I use expand to decompress, for compressing i have no clue. I've searched for un-expand tool and no luck.

I've noticed that lexmark printer drivers don't install properly from INF...SHAME ON YOU LEXMARK. I feel much better now.

You should use Sysprep Driver Scanner instead of DevPath.exe

Keep the good work dude, when you get the solutions I could modify the pack especially for you. big_smile

That's normal. Thx for reporting.

Please try this test pack.

done..i'm adding 2 new drivers then uploading.

Well OfflineSysprep 2.0 looks promising and will most likely be the solution for every scenario.

We could have a simple script in the PE:
Step1. Deploy the image using Acronis/Ghost,gImageX etc.. (silently of course, symantec and acronis have documentation to do that)
Step2. Run OfflineSysprep with predefined settings silently (possible in version 2.0, correct me if i'm wrong Galapo big_smile)
Mass storage are being injected at this step to, hal is being take care off, same with 07E error (intelppm)
Step3. Reboot
Step4. mini-setup, drivers installation via network share or drivers folder in the image

Tip Of the Day: Use VmWare to make your image and then convert the machine to your favorite image format (ex: Acronis) You can use VMWare Converter. So you don't need to boot in PE emuling an ISO and then take your image and save it to a network share.

I changed my Universal Solution to test that setup. I will post further infos during my whole tesing. Hopefully at the end, we will get a pretty good deployment solution.

Keep in mind that when a HWID is duplicated in different INFs, the 1st one in alphabetical order will be picked during PnP discovery during CD install/sysprep. So most likely we make sure that there is no dupe or general HWID, else you get the wrong driver installed. (If your very lucky you can get a good one, but I would not bet on that)

So by keeping only the I1 folder and removing the other folder you mentionned, you make sure you get the proper driver installed. Still I need the HWID of the device to analyze and find a proper solution.

I use PE plugin for those 2 drivers in PE, you can use joshua plugin for nforce and for intel you can use this plugin: http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php? … p;hl=intel

This won't be fix untill overflow code a plugin for bartpe. Even if intel drivers were not giving you errors with the older versions, still you will notice that some sys files are not copied into your PE...and that cause some nic to fails.

I will try to post all my PE plugins for network drivers tonight.

I suggest you remove all folders you mention except I1 and repack.  Could you provide the exact HWID using save_hwids.exe in my sig ?

humm Jaak is there any good reasons why you did not include the changes I did in 8.05a ? This is a nvidia issue here, nothing to do with the changes I did.

Jaak was there a problem with Intel ? I can see you put the default names back plus you downgraded Marvell. I'm working on a update, i'm including 1 new driver, I will integrate the via changes you made.
