I downloaded the Qt GUI creator to play with over the weekend.  We will make progress on the new Win7 integrator soon hopefully.

So were the ones abdou reported.  But in the device manager you're getting a yellow exclamation point right?
I'd love to see the setup*.log files from those botched installs.  They're too big to post here, so just email them to me OK?

It's been 6 long months since we released DriverPack Graphics A & B, but now they're here at long last.  Almost everything in these DriverPacks have changed since the last releases.
DriverPack Graphics A is completely new.
Many of you are wondering why we're releasing  DriverPack Graphics A with the older Nvidia 185.85 drivers instead of the latest 186.18...well to be frank, they're broken.  We worked countless hours to make 186.18 work during the Windows setup, but to-date, could not.  So in the end, we reverted to our standard mantra: "Stability before currency".

DriverPack Graphics B has many changes as well.  In fact, only a single folder is unchanged from our previous release.
DriverPack Graphics C, as forecast, has had no changes whatsoever. smile

Also updated was the PhysX and Language DriverPacks.  These DriverPacks get placed in the 3rd party folder before integration.

Since it's been 6 months since our last release, this is a good opportunity to highlight the fact that we at DriverPacks.net have NO set release schedule.  We will release as often as possible without sacrificing quality and stability.  We strive to release updated DriverPacks every month, but our team roster has never been lower.  If you think you have what it takes to be a DriverPacks tester or better yet a DriverPacks builder, make some contributions in the forums and we may add you to the team!  smile

If possible, can you email me the DPsFnshr.log, setupapi.log and any other setup*.log files for the failed machines?

It's possible.  Have you added the languages dp to the 3rd party folder?

True, that HWID should be in DriverPack Graphics C.  I've added it to \N3\.
But since you've reported \N2\ works better, I'll add it there instead.

Well that's not encouraging. neutral
I'd like to point out during my testing I haven't had any problems on desktop or laptops.  But without an affected system sitting in front of me for troubleshooting, it's like chasing ghosts in the dark.

According to M$, the only things the Ultimate version adds to the Pro version is BitLocker (which I have, but have never used) and multiple language support.
Pro for my tower! Maybe Home Premium for my notebooks

Except that they're old. smile
If you can verify that the official ATI drivers work, then I've got more work to do.  If they don't work, I still have more work to do.
Yay for me! sad

Looks like I need to make some additions to DriverPack Chipset to bring it up to date with DriverPack Graphics A. sad
The smbus.inf needs to be updated.  But I don't think that's causing your problem.

What DriverPack Chipset are you using?

Have you tried using the ATI default 9.3 drivers here?

That happens to be one of the folders Major is working on right now in the latest nightly.
That HWID has many duplicates.  Once he's done making his changes, would you be able to test it for us on that machine?

Which DriverPacks did you use?  If it was DriverPack Graphics A 906b2, then I need to know ASAP since I'm finalizing it tonight!

If you already tried the drivers here, and you STILL have problems, then you need to address it with Nvidia since it's their problem, not ours.
Try disconnecting all your other cards so your quadro is the only card present and try again.  You can also try using DriverCleaner (free) to wipe out any old legacy drivers that might be the cause.

Well, I suppose it could be added to DriverPacks Finisher to record to the DPsFnshr.log.

That would only report on the system running the DriverPacks BASE.  Not the target system.
But I like it! smile

Wow, I was going to fix the modem dp, but over half of the hwids are duplicated!  I don't even know where to start! sad
That dp is a real mess!

This is another setback for Vista.
But Win7 will be awesome and no one will want to remember the 'dark days' of Vista.

I see that Jan went to help over here: http://future.siginetsoftware.com/index.php
This is a VERY good thing, because all the great developers are converging on a single project (that MAY be backwards compatible with Vista).
This new project brings together all the core developers of the RyanVM Integrator, and the W7Toolkit and other bright minds.
I also signed on to the project, because I feel we're on the cusp of something great with W7 and I can be a positive influence on it's development.
