Just to be certain, I'm tearing into the LAN dp now (release/nightlies).
Shields up!  Arm the photon torpedoes!   Fire all weapons!!!! big_smile

Just completed scans.
DriverPack LAN 8.12.1 -- Clean
DriverPack LAN 9.09.04 -- Clean
Used both Eset NOD32 and Symantec Endpoint Security (both updated to latest engines/defs).

Go to the Start->ATI CCC folder->Restart Runtime.
I've also had success going to desktop properties, click the Advanced tab, then CCC tab, "Go to CCC".
I can't remember what those items are actually called since I'm not on my ATI box.

SimpleCDN distributes it's files across multiple servers and selects the closest server to the requesting link.  Odd that traceroute didn't show ANY hops.
It's possible that there's a corrupted file stuck in a proxy cache close to where you are.

Smells like spam to me.
Watch it bub.

I'm still trying to figure out what's breaking my XP install.  I'm certain it's an addon that changes either .NET, VC++ or an IE8 file.  Once I get that, I'll work some more on this CCC problem.
In my testing though, CCC is installed but has no icon in the taskbar.  Restarting the CCC runtime fixes it.  But the user should not have to resort to that, it should be automatic.

Trust me.  All the DriverPacks are clean!

Yeah, I did get them, but I haven't had a chance to look through them yet.  I'm having issues of my own today! >:(

I just did a test install and now I'm seeing this same problem.
ATICCC is installed, but won't work.
This is NOT cool!

*Edit,
Well, now ATICCC IS working.  I think something's screwy with my .NET and M$ runtimes installers because WPIW doesn't work either (fails with Visual C++ error).

LOL, I fixed your link. You had \ where the / should be. wink

Weird, the soundmax audio didn't get installed during setup, but did during SAD install. neutral

Everyone is entitled to an opinion...even if it's wrong. wink

Try a bare integration using RVMI with only:
User_Hidden's QFE updatepack. Discussion: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7184
RogueSpears vc2k5 & vc2k8 addon. Discussion: http://www.doitrightconsulting.net/foru … &t=132
Yumeyao's .NET installer. Discussion: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7696

No tweaks!

I use all of these with great effect and both addons can be installed at svcpack using "-ai1" switch.

Is this normal?

No.
You must have modified something after integrating DriverPacks.
Lets see your logs.  Read the "Read before you post" linked in my signature.
DPs_BASE.log & DPsFnshr.log please.  You'll need to split them into several posts because they're too big.

Normally, we don't answer questions such as yours (read the "Read before you post" linked in my signature.)
But I'm in a good mood. smile

First, try our DriverPacks.  The tutorial is linked in my signature.
SAD - Stand Alone Driver disc, is the preferred method on a running system.  Direct integration using DriverPacks BASE is the preferred method for initial installs.

Or...
Download here.
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catal … radeonx-xp
Then download the ATI modtool from here:
http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php
Follow the instructions provided!
We do not provide support for that tool or method!

Have a nice day.  Welcome to DriverPacks!

Ah crap!  That old Live card isn't supported by creative anymore either.  They only have the older driver from 2003.
These sound DriverPacks are getting so big, we may need to create a third C DriverPacks to handle all the "end-of-life" devices.
And both the nvidia/Via HDaudio HWIDs are supported by the latest nightly sound DriverPacks.

I changed your thread title to better reflect the issue.

No.
We do not support Nlite.  We only support DriverPacks installations.
Please read the tutorial linked in my signature.

Welcome to DriverPacks.  Have a nice day.

To install CCC, just go to DriverPack Graphics A\D\G\A1\CC\setup.exe  but it won't install unless the drivers have been installed, then after you'll need a restart.
You can't do monitor clone at 1680x1050@60Hz@32 because your laptop screen won't support it.  You'll have to install CCC and the Asus monitor driver for all of this to work properly.

You need to stop what you're doing and read ALL the tutorials here:  http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/
LOL, you downloaded all the DriverPacks from the \old\ directory. big_smile

I'll look into it.
I've made that modification to a testing .inf.  Can you download the compressed .inf and add the decompressed file to 9.10rc1 DriverPack Graphics A\D\G\A\ and then test it for us?

LOL, we only have a few functions working.  Don't worry, once we get ready, we'll have a beta product for more testing.
But this tool won't be just for drivers...oh no!  I'll do a LOT more. wink
I don't want to spoil the surprise.

We're working on our own Win7/Vista tool over here: http://future.siginetsoftware.com/index.php
We're making progress.  It's coded using Qt/C++.  It'll be dependent on DISM.

Yes, use Method-2.  Ensure XP sp3 is used.
And use the release candidate sound/graphics DriverPacks (see the main news page for links).

This was never supported by DriverPacks.  You can ask the creator in the thread he started over at MSFN.
http://www.msfn.org/board/driver-packs- … ml&hl=

Excellent news.  Thank you for confirming.

Thanks.  DriverPacks Finisher doesn't install PhysX, but it lets me see different aspects post-install.
Like which .inf was used to trigger the install.
Only the newer drivers auto-install PhysX from the .inf.  The older ones (v93.71) won't.

Could you also include all the C:\Windows\setup***.log files too?

OK, I'll look into it when I get back to the UK.
Can you email me your DPsFnshr.log?
