I tested it on a ASUS G1Sn (GeForce 9500 GS) and it worked.  big_smile

It's on my test pack. I tested it on a ASUS G1S laptop.

BartPE and XP worked perfectly. I will update the test pack soon.

Please use the last chipset pack else you got masss storage up to date and outdated chipset drivers which is non-sense.

I will upload another test pack soon. First we need to gather all missing HWIDs and resume what works and what dosen't. Right now, it's a mess lol

I agree but the addon idea is nice as long as it dos not require too much work. We already have enough.

Rofl.

Damn we're good. big_smile

I'll see what I can do.

It only works on vista when UAC is disabled, please run msconfig and disable that crap.

I'm already working on it thanks for the input. I noticed the same thing you just did. There is  3 or 4 HWIDs that are located in both inf. So I had to modify the DriverPacks ini file using a different tag for [AT2].

Also gigabyte released the same driver with a newer build that supports more hwids. So I used this one, it also contains the hwid of your hardware.

Jaak or Overflow: Is it possible that tag must be under 8 characters ?

Since when WHQL means means something... big_smile  I must agree with Overflow when he says newer is not always better. The best way to find if you must update or not is always to look at the actual changelog.

I'm working on it.

Please run the save_HWIDS.exe tool located in my sig and copy the report here, otherwise it's hard for us to help you. Thank you.

Done.

Well I guess you can comment the hwid in the D4 inf, it's only used on some dell server so it is no big deal. There is a lot more user out there with Intel mobos than Dell servers....At least we still have the driver in when needed.

Intel Chipset was updated along with turbo memory driver.

Last version out there is 8.5.0.1032.

yeah it is menionned in the news but there is no download link.

Nope, just one added hwid and changes to sys and ca files.

Great Job Jaak, I like the idea of adding another inf. Intel released a non official update (8.5.0.1030) it contains one more hwid which is included in the extra.inf.

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3A02&CC_0106

I could update I4 right now or we could wait until it become official. Let me know what you think.
