...on top of that what month has 32 days? tongue
if you get some time... re-up the file with standard year/month/day version number, I will update it on my stickie then... should be like 6.12.21 or something....

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Modem: 6.12

No, the 32 is for 32bits.
The first figure is the year, second is month. This is so you can keep track of which pack is newer. The usual release cylce for official packs was ~once a month, hence no need to include any days.

It's just a naming convention and definately nothing crititcally.
I'll try to rename them, though, so they don't look too outdated wink

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Modem: 6.12

hi

No offence meant, but this is funny..
x86-32 already tells me it is for 32 bits.

64 bit drivers would have AMD-X64 or x86-64 in the name?
those I saw at 3rdparty here used x86-64

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

"[REL] DriverPack xyz y.mm" where 'xyz' is the name of your DriverPack, 'y' is the current year (i.e. '6' for '2006') and 'mm' is the current month (i.e. '08' for August, '12' for December). Only post DriverPacks for the wnt5_x86-32 platform in this forum.

Helmi, You are correct that it should not include the day in the naming...... However, since 3rd party packs are not official and have the possibility to be updated by several sources I have been naming the packs that I contribute to all with the yy.mm.dd naming... so if someone updates it after that there is no question of what is newer. and thank you for taking on renaming them, I'm on a loner computer right now while I'm fixing up my house...

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Modem: 6.12

Ok, i have corrected the naming of the new driverpack modem. See the first post above.

Yeah, NP, but that still does not explain where the 32 came from, eh? wink
