Solved by installing VIA drivers instead of Realtek...

Must be an identical HWID issue and my guess is that this problem is therefore irresolvable.

The device did not work properly either, I assume (since you mention "code 10" in the topic title, and I think you meant "error code 10")?

Correct, the device did not function untill the VIA drivers were installed. and yes "Code 10" means Device Driver Error code 10.

is there a way to double check if they have identical HWIDs or not?
