Topic: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

Hello!!

I have a motherboard that is strange it has Nforce 630A but it's incompatible with currently driver in driverspack masstorage 12.06,  this has included Nforce 630 drivers, not 630A.

The id that i need have two drivers is :

SCSI\NVIDIA__Raid_Disk________="nvrd327r"
SCSI\__NVIDIA_______Raid_Disk="nvrd327r"
SCSI\NVIDIA__Raid_Disk_20_____="nvrd327r"
SCSI\__NVIDIA____Raid_Disk_20="nvrd327r"
*NVRAIDBUS="nvrd327r"
*NVRAID20="nvrd327r"

I need one for all the rest of Nforce's with nvrd327r and for my nforce 630A one custom nvrd327rcustom.

How i can do that?

Many thanks!

Re: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

Welcome to DriverPacks.
Can you post your full HWID list using the tool in my signature?
Here's the link from the FAQ on how to make your own dpms: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2461

Can you tell us exactly WHY the current drivers in D\M\N8\ don't work?
The driver we use is from 15.56 and the reference nvidia driver for 630a is 15.45.
I compared the two RAID drivers and couldn't find any differences.

If you want to be sure, you can do this test.
1) Open the dpms .7z file using the current version of 7-Zip ONLY (not winrar or other archiver).
2) Copy all the files from the extracted 15.45 folders (\IDE\WinXP\sataraid\) & (\IDE\WinXP\sata_ide\) to the dpms D\M\N8 folder.
3) In 7-zip, copy nvgts.sys to nvgts7r.sys and nvrd32.sys to nvrd327r.sys so you have 4 .sys files.
4) Close 7-zip to repackage.
5) Integrate into source with DriverPacks BASE and retest.

Hello, again!

I did the modification that you tell me and it doesn't work I used a several drivers without success.

The motherboard model is:Asrock  ALiveNF7G-HD720p R5.0

I don't know why because your driver pack it's ok it has PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0558

I uploaded to dropbox my txtsetup.sif

thanks for your support.

Re: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

I found the problem the problem was this.

The raid class is detected as
*NVRAID20="nvrd327r"

But nvrd327r doesn't works with nforce630A.

I don't know why.

If I put a diskette and press F6 for install my drivers the windows remplaces nvrd32 from my diskette with the driverspack masstorage nvrd327r, I had to comment the line of nvraid20 from txtsetup to use my diskette.

Then it's detected but when copy it tries to copy from cdrom instead diskette that is the source of my driver.

It could be some problems with driver pack base?

Re: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

It wouldn't be a problem with DriverPacks BASE, but with the .ini in dpms.
I'm super busy this week but I'll try and get something sorted out maybe this weekend.

Re: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

tested on another Nforce 630A motherboard with same results (M2N68-AM SE2)

The driver doesn't works and doesn't detect the array, if i put a diskette and the cdrom with drivers = no array.

I i put the diskette and cdrom without drivers (commented all nforce) = yes array.

Re: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

put this in your mass-storage.ini

Re: Multiple drivers (sys files) under one HRWID

Tried but not detected in both motherboards.

This is why i think that is driverpack base problem and not driverspack masstorage.
