Windows Update Catalog has DriverVer=12/11/2011, v3.5.24.0, the WHQL signature includes Vista & 7 for both x86 & x64!

Note: - The host controller driver is not WHQL'ed for Vista specifically, yet the XP WHQL sig. should suffice

         - the *_hub files are bit-identical to the *_hub_vista files

** Note:  The Security Catalogs for the Windows 8 driver may be invalid, although i'm uncertain.
                   If WHQL is in doubt, indeed throw it out!

To extract, first extract with 7zip (etc.), then launch a Command Prompt for the resultant folder, then enter "FLUSB3.0-3.5.73.0.exe" /extract:c:\temp\FL3573 to extract to the current directory on a drive other than 'c:' (i am ignorant of the proper syntax.  My bad)
