Isn't that already covered by the Intel drivers?

Yeah, you're right.  I'll have to add it in there.

This is added for the next DriverPack WLAN release (11.08 or 11.09)

Hello,
Has this been added yet?  I have the 11.09 WLAN pack and my new Dell XPS L702X has this adapter (see hwids below) but is not recognized when I boot into UBCD4Win 3.60.

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&SUBSYS_52218086&REV_34
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&SUBSYS_52218086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&CC_0280

Let me know if you need any more info from me.  Thanks much.

Re: [IMPL] WLAN - Centrino Advanced-N 6230 BGN [8086:0091]

Yes, it's supported in 11.09 in folder \I2.

[Device.NTx86.5.1]

; Dell_6230_AGN_2x2_HMC
%NIC_MPCIEX_6230AGN_2x2_HMC% = Install_MPCIEX_Dell_6230_AGN_2x2_HMC_XP_MOW , PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&SUBSYS_52218086 ; MOW

Try it in a normal XP disc-based install (or SAD).  If it works, then there's nothing wrong with the DriverPack WLAN, but something wrong with your UBCD4win build.
