Topic: Please help me to find SATA Driver for Win 2k3 enterprise server.

hi friends,

     I'm new to this forum, glad to meet you all. I need the sata driver pack for Windows 2003 enterprise server 32bit to install in Segate Momentus 320GB laptop hdd. The laptop is Compaq presario CQ42 274tu. It came with preinstalled win 7 home basic x64. I tried to install 2003 enterprise server. But it's not detecting the hdd because of sata driver issue. Compaq support page doesn't have sata driver for this hdd as it's a laptop bundled with w7 OS.

Could anyone help me to find the exact sata driver for this hdd? I need windows 2003 i can't try other latest oses for some personal reasons. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

You don't need a driver for a hard disk.
Windows provide proper drivers for hard disks by default.

Contrary add driver for mass storage CONTROLLER.
Try current  DriverPack MassStorage.
