new xp pro install wont see internet
i just loaded my laptop
Vaio PCG-FXA36 - PCG-971L with xp pro i had to reformat it..everything works fine but when i click explorer i get a pop up saying open choose the program you want to use to open this file
i know the ethernet card is good...i have no lite on the back of the laptop when ethernet cable is plugged in.could i be missing a driver?
in my devise manager there is a ? beside other devices,network controller and PCI Simple communications controller
so maybe i need chipset drivers for my sony notebook
maybe someone can help
