IE 7 delete temporary internet files multiple users script help

I have been working on this for months and I think I have tried everything that google located but I still can't seem to get it right. Since this is my favorite tech resource I thought I would ask here. If this is the wrong forum I apologize...

MANY tools will delete the current users IE files including the index.dat but what I am looking to do is delete all users IE and temp files but KEEP the index.dat files or at least make a copy of them before the cleanups. On the workbench when we do quick cleanups on systems we login with a special IT account and run ccleaner, fcleaner and a bunch of  of other tools and scripts before we scan and update the systems and finally return them to the user... but we must maintain the index.dat file in case the company needs to be any simple forensic reviews of the systems.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I have various scripts that I have located and can share them if needed.... thanks
