Topic: Corrupt Zip files

Hi

This file is corrupted(Just the file, not the download). Have tried it on a couple of machines.

http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/wind … /lan/10.03

So are these

http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/wind … nd-a/10.06

http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/wind … nd-b/10.06

I am using Winrar to unpack.
No problems with any of the other downloads, and have downloaded quite a few.

Can someone confirm this please.
And can something be done about it.

Thanks

Re: Corrupt Zip files

Did you verify the MD5 for each file?

Just to confirm wot i am on about.

This is the error message when trying to unzip
Error
---------------------------
E:\Backup\Programs\DriverPacks\LatestDrivers\XP32bit\DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_1006.7z
The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

Re: Corrupt Zip files

Yes, it's probably a corrupted download.  Flush your cache and try the download again.
Or try hashcheck to check the md5 hash.

Re: Corrupt Zip files

For me zip files are very important. And once something happened with some of them. Fortunately I stumbled upon a nice utility (spam link removed) corrupt winzip file. To my great surprise, it restored theirs within a minute and utterly simply.

The right way for this trouble can be <== Link Removed ==>. The software uses modern and clear methods of restoring zip data. It can work with big damaged .zip archives, it doesn't modify source data during restoration zip archives. The program starts under all major versions of Windows OS.
