Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

I have found the bug :

Just compare the folder displayed on the error message :

http://xpcoccinelle.fredisland.net/images/temp/Critical3.gif

... with the tree: two "D" folders, instead of ONE ! Is that normal ?

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

I have the same critical error using the method 1 and it can´t copy the files .inf because it doesnt find the source directory as he said Cocinelle.

also when i click next until quickstream cache, i click the option disable or enable and then the button next doesn´t continue.

Thanks

Thanks, I tried with it and it works ... but I had to not use my personnal drivepack. They work with method 2 but not with method 1, very strange !

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

Changed to 'OPEN', I don't remember why I had set it to 'SOLVED' about a month ago :s. I will try to reproduce this, which I already have tried, without success.

I think you said it was solved because the solution was "blame windows" smile

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

... still waiting for a solution ... snif ...

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

I've submitted it to the bugtracker now: BUG #84.

I think I've found the solution, but still have to test it.

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

I ran into the issue with the current 6.06.1 base, 6.05 packs as well and found that the directory structure created in the XP tree had an extra 'D' sub folder, ie. '\D\D\'.  The root 'D' folder contained no other subfolders.  Note: Used method 1 and my XP Home OEM source had been processed by nLite v1.0.1 with the current RyanVM update pack.

Thanks for the great tool Bashrat!

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

i have a workaround
i copied dp chipset 6.08 in the third party folder and integrated it successfully

But now the Intel .inf files haven't been copied to $OEM$\$$\INF. That's fine, as long as you don't use a motherboard based on a Intel chipset.

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

I'm still getting this error in DriverPacks BASE 6.08.2.
Any Idea's why?

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

Odd....

Open the QSC directory and delete the directory in which 'Chipset' is mentioned. Now retry.

Re: [SOLVED BUG #84] M1: fails to copy the Intel .inf files to $OEM$

Don't have that folder. I've never used QuickStream Cache.
