Topic: [IMPL] WNC 802.11b USB300

I tried installing a DP base/wlan 8.05 modded XPSP3 on an aging ROCK Quaddra XT laptop but it was missing WLAN drivers for its WNC (which Linux (incorrectly?) identifies as an Acer Warplink chipset) wlan which I eventually found here:

I'm not entirely sure if I rolled in driverpacks webcam support to my install disc, but I had to download the driver for that too so it might be worth checking:

HWIDs would be nice (see sig).
And did you put the [IMPL] tag on the thread title or has a team member editited it without giving notice (please, at least uncheck the silent edit option so that it is clear who did it wink).

Yeah, sorry about the incorrect [IMPL] tag- that was me trying to guess how you operate on these boards. I looked at other posts and thought [IMPL] tag might be a new driver that needs to be implemented but I guess now it means its been added?

Yeah, [REQ] means you request a new driver to be added, then, when it has been done, the Team changes that to [IMPL] to reflect that it has been implemented.

danboid, I've added the WNC driver to DP_WLAN_wnt5_x86-32_90503.7z D\W\WNC.

The correct download link is http://www.rockdirect.com/support/drivers/ms10513.zip. But the files are very old (2002). I'm not sure if this driver will still work with XPSP3, in most cases drivers from 2004 and earlier do not support WPA and WPA2. I'll send you an email with the download link, please test an report back here.
