Topic: HP DC7800 Desktop

Hi All,

Not 100% sure where I should post this one. Admins feel free to move it. I have a new HP DC7800 dekstop and there are several drivers missing.

chipset and graphics B DriverPacks have what you need.

sound B does not yet have the HWIDs your driver lists, and this SoundMax adi driver is in the queu to get included.

Hi Jaak,

Funny thing is I am using the current chipset driverpack 7.0.9 and the curent graphics b driverpack 7.0.9.2

Got any suggestions on what I can try.

I searched again.. I did have the ID for Graphics in graphics B, and said so.
But, I must apologise.
I had it in an updated (not yet released) DP Graphics B.
When I had compared your driver INF to the INF that I had found in "our" DP, it had 100 percent HWID match,
Your version 06/05/2007,6.14.10.4837
My version = 4864
And 7.09.2 Grafics B pack, with version 4859, did a funny on us.
Sorry.

Graphics B 7.10 is in the works.

I looked at above HWIDs list, it is some sort of modem?

I did not look at the modem pack.

I think it is a new HECI (Intel(R) Management Engine Interface).

Hi Jaak,

I have tested the new driver packs (chipset, mass storage, sounda+b, and graphics a+b) with the HP DC7800 and if seems to load all drivers bar the sound drivers. Oh so close now.

Same problem here.

HP dc7800P audio does not work on W2K.

I have 2 unknown devices:

Intel(R) ICH9DO LPC Interface Controller - 2914              (I downloaded the bearlake patch but no go)
Locatie 65535 (Interne bus voor High Definition Audio)                 

UAA is installed and works fine.

I had an issue with the PCI serial port

The Intel AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 3.0 patch found here:

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I have been doing research for a while now, and the only device I cannot get installed is the Intel(R) ICH9D0 LPC Interface Controller

I have everything else installed.  This is for a HP DC7800 Small form Factor PC running Windows XP Professional SP3

That is because "ACPI\IFX0102" is an Infineon TPM device, not an LPC Interface.
   (see the first post of this topic)

Try the latest Release Candidate, and post your feedback in that topic.
