Topic: Dell GX280 latest packs failing at GUI reboot sections

Hi,
Latest packs (as of yesterday, inc latest test Audio packs) I am having pc hang at the reboot points, instead of the reboot i get a black screen with frozen white mouse pointer on. Used to be fine on these GX280's and is fine on the other machines?
Am at a bit of a loss as to whats causing it?

It is a P4 2.8Ghz, this was with hyperthreading enabled, and I tried again with it disabled (default setting) and halted in same fashion in same places (but using single processor HAL).
Anyone got any ideas where to begin? The only difference between it working before and now is driverpacks changes but which one maybe relevant??

Re: Dell GX280 latest packs failing at GUI reboot sections

strange one this, bios was on A06, i updated to A08 and did a 'load defaults' then it worked fine....unfortunately as I made the classic mistake of altering more than one variable at a time I dont know what  fixed it, but I presume as it now works on 280's with even older BIOS versions, it was some setting in the bios. This may be of use incase anyone else has this issue on Dell Optiplex models - reset to bios defaults!
