Topic: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

I have tried to integrate the new mass storage driverpack and in the txtmode section I am getting a ViBus.sys cannot be found error. ViBus.sy_ is i the i386 directory where it should be. I have created an ISO using AutoImage and am running it on VirtualPC 2007. I used the driverpack base seperate from AutoImage. Any ideas of what the issue might be?? The build works fine before integrating the driverpacks. Thanks for the help!

hi BamB4m

QSC was OFF?

can you redo with QSC ON?

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

Re: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

Hey Jaak,

Thanks for the reply. I will try that. I was told to keep it off when doing method 2. Should I try method 1??

Re: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

no, you have too many packs for method 1.

M2, KTD and and QSC ON.. (the only change is QSC ON)

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

Re: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

for what it is worth, you should try the latest TEST pack for sound A.

at the moment, I am working on mass storage, to include a new PERC, and to fix other little things.

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

I have also added this step so that I can use the same build for RIS:
1) Move files from OEM to $OEM$/$1
2) Copy Presetup.cmd from autoimage into i386:

Re: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

Alright, I made a quality control mistake, I did 3 things at the same time. I used the default presetup, I used a windows XP machine instead of 2003 to integrate the drivers, and I used WINISO isntead of AutoImage to create my ISO. Now, I dont think the presetup is the issue, so its ether windows XP or WinISO that fixed the problem.

Re: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

hi

While I was working on the dp, I looked, and saw the mass storage INI setting for ViBus is currently set to NOT use it during TXTmode. (Having the driver available for PnP was enough, I thought.)

I can change the lines in [V-4] section while I am making a new testpack.

(oops, I looked at an older version. We have 7.09.1 which already has [V-4] enabled.)

Where are the test packs located?

One looks in testing forum, or looks for public links for testing like in here..

Re: [RESOLVED] Mass Storage 7.09.1 - ViBus.sys

Just an FYI, I had the same issue as BAM, even when using the latest nightly for the mass storage. I was able to resolve the problem by going into my sources and renaming ViBus.SY_ to VIBUS.SY_.

Hi,
strange, but possible.
I vaguely remember old discussions about upper/lower case issues.
This should not be an issue, but I do believe you none the less.
