Topic: How do I strip down a driver and fix broken ones in unattended setup?

I have a few drivers that I want to strip down to a minimum and some that fails to install correctly when I try to integrate them in my x64 install:

1. Realtek ALC850. The driver installs tray icons and stuff into control panel. I just want the simple audio driver.
2. Logitech Pro 5000 Webcam driver. Installs unnessesary software. Previously it was possible to extract the driver, but now it only installs the Microphone, while the webcam itself fails with inf error.
3. Creative X-fi. I can't get this to work. It seems to install, but fails to install completely. I've seen this covered a few places, but never seen a working integrated x64 driver.

How do I verify inf drivers and strip everything unnessesary out?

hi

in the latest sound A driverpack 7.09 all X64 files were removed.

DPsBase itself has never supported X64 slipstream.

(actually, a good many of the late 7.08x and all 7.09 releases have had files removed for windows 9x and X64...)

Once it was made clear X64 was never going to be done by Bâshrat the Sneaky, we sorta started removing files that are not used to get the packs smaller.
